It is true that the Jews never admit their errors and never apologise. It's been always true that most wealth has always been in the hands of very few. Greed always leads to destruction, but it it is a vice not exclusive to capitalism. It's always been there and taking a long historical view, under capitalism even the poor are a lot wealthier and more comfortable than the poor had ever been. American poor have the diseases that aristocracy used to suffer from in the past. But I agree with you, there is a lot more work-life balance in Poland than we have here in Canada. I loved multiculturalism of Canada, but it is being lost now as people get more and more segregated in their own little groups. There is not as much mixing of different cultures as there used to be.😢

To summarise: you have now seen more clearly on your return that in the American world, everything revolves around money and people there ‘live to work’. Meanwhile, in Europe, people ‘work to live’. This is also visible in the fact that Europe may not be developing at the same pace as the USA, for example, but people in Europe are happier than in the USA. Besides, the Scandinavian nations are among the happiest people in the world. I think some people in Poland have come to the conclusion that we already have a standard of living that satisfies us and that we don't have to be first in the economy - it's better to have maybe less and not earn as much as in the West, but to be in your own country, among your family and to feel safe than to live somewhere far away as an emigrant, often discriminated and rushing around every day in pursuit of money and prosperity, forgetting about yourself, your needs and your happiness.
