2:10 yep.this shit is NW... U died behind the pillar... so many delayed part in the game and so much bug... unbalanced classes...worst thing is ranged dpses get moore and mooooore dmg boost since year and years and melee is just almost unplayable a endgame...not include TR.. TR is a hybrid..half melee and ranged class with incredible overpowered encounters...since years overpowered class and his partner is a CW what is the meta and their 3 partner is now a bard...new class is the baby of Devs..New mod new ranged dps boost SW... crazy how hard pushing the game to the only ranged meta... and always there is bugs in dungeeons,but fashion and new lockboxes or astral lockbox upgrade is more important than a fixed game.

Flying bulbous is a fun idea, but I like the idea of instead of butterfly wings it would be more like a ladybug or something, I think that would be cute

I've played on and off since the beta. I've spent more real money than I care to admit both on pc and console on items that are now obsolete in the game. My advice, don't spend a dime on this game.

i was with you on a lot of the stuff you said, till you started saying competing with dps as healer or tank. if you could come even close to competing with dps on other rolls, why bring a dps at all? if i can get somewhat comparable damage from a roll other then dps, then i would kick all dps rolls and just bring rolls that have utility.

finally good overview. simply you gotta try combat and then you like it or not

I have played for years, but in the last year is been on and off.. Ye the game has it's issues, but overall i love the game. Have a good guild and friends to play with, that makes the game much more fun for sure. But overall NW was and still is a pretty good game imo :)

I'm playing this game via $3.99 PC Pass on Geforce Now and it's incredibly enjoyable. The 40ms latency can be a handicapped on parrying, but it's still doable or even better than Lies of P's BS parrying windows.

I also decided to try NW once more nearly a year ago (just nostalgic after new movie about DnD). And game have changed a lot after I quit in m13. I totally agree with author than game is really much better now for new players, especially in terms of QoL, account bound thingies etc. But as for old NW player I missed a lot that versatility of being able to create rally unique character/build, to make solo challenges for yourself. I did like tanking and dps on TR/GF or heal/support on CW/SW/HR. Now there is no place for such play styles at all :( just typical rough holy trinity. It’s good for new players as game definitely more stable, but less versatile. PS: eventually I managed to make an OP that heals and top1 dps, but it’s really fully endgame toon with everything maximized and not available for regular player 😢

I been playing since 2018. The game has died alot. They need to cross platform with xbox. All the endgame players now each other and have formed clicks. Hard 2 find master trail content. Not all guilds/alliances are helping to provide endgame content. Extremely disappointed with this game and what has happened. Their was a update today as well didn't fix the the consumable buffs. Every time we swap loadouts in 5 man content are buffs get erased. Witch causes players 2 waist money. At 1st it's was the players that make the game a problem to host master trails. Every1 has their clicks on who they wanna run with. Then players cry when people tell them they not ready 4 this type of content. Then a big fight happens just cuzz people wanna carry their friend thru content they ain't ready 4. With out informing others in q. So in the end we struggle/waist time. That's y we need cross platform with xbox. It's a small player base already every1 nows every1. People try to restrict people from getting in master trail content so they can control the auction house as well so prices can stay High.

You’ve made some very fair assessments to the game, the only things I would like to mention is you can upgrade your companions and mounts with tokens, and you can get quite a lot of these tokens during events and doing daily reaper, and they drop in dungeon chests too. I never use diamonds to upgrade my companions and mounts, I never have. I do think the main thing that is wrong with this game is the enchantment system, it is absolutely disgusting, and I am someone who has all top rank enchantments. They really need to bring back the old system, where the only enchantment that requires a coal mote is the top rank one.

enjoyable game however they should have let item pickups count for both players.

I wonder if there is a reason they haven't had a visual upgrade to the game and/or made the game have a more seamless open world feel to it instead of a bunch of instances. Idk but unless the servers shut down, I don't think I could ever really stop playing entirely.

Campaigns are terrible. 10 weeks to complete unless you pay $20 dollars per campaign. Scaling is horrible!

You can multi queue. There is a petty system for leveling up enchantment and artifacts: Siegebreaker. Depending on rarity is the siegebreaker limit before 100% guaranteed upgrade. 1% Enchantment is 150 attempts

Game is fun for friends. After the leveling system, game goes down hill. Game Developers are too busy balancing between buffing and nerfing everything. Instead of making meaningful improvements and features that change the way we play with each other.

I pause on 5:05 to ask you a question... You don`t need to answer it, especially if there is no answer that will satisfy me, but I kind of feel like it. I play another mmorpg... and I am PC player... but... recently I got so fed with that other game (don`t get me wrong, I still like that other game I play and will not name here, I also do think it is <the superior game> >by far<, but for me at least, not insisting that is true or you should think so as well) that recently I "unfroze" my 10 year old NWN characters. Apparently I had 7 of them... What used to be GWF and is now Barbarian 0_0 (main), Cleric (which imho used to e a lot more fun with that blue zone he used to have) CW (which is more or less unchanged for me), Ranger, Fighter, Rogue and Warlock... I stopped playing in before Paladin and Bard... I kind of am amused by the thought of Paladin, but I do have a lot of game to play in that other mmorpg. Needless to say neither of my characters had any equip... or what they had was/is reduced to the equivalent of ~nothing. I did however mustered around some ~gameplay (of what I can "get on", the very beginner stuffs) Bumped my main to currently like 37.5k GS but than I couldn`t help myself but spilled whatever Astral Diamonds I could get on 3 of the alts... the Cleric, CW, Ranger to make them 25k dungeon able (I do enjoy to que and go trough them even if I think the rewards are practically symbolic)... I am past the 30 000k requirement story mode "Acquisition" I have like ~Mounts, (with their insignia words on green, blue and the quest purple) with whatever collars they can wear, Companions (one I like and ones for the added stat lines that I think are ~decent) I have green enchants and whatever the top armor set from that 30 000k quest is and I bought whatever I could afford for the bump of the rest of the stuffs from Astral Already (in before I started Unpacking alts). But my weap and off hand are 1050 GS green Garbo o_0 is the best I got naturally from gameplay that far? Can you advice me where are the easiest, lowest in time of acquisition, stuffs I can get my hands on in terms of those (Main and off) I checked the CM and at first there were some 200+K 1200 gs + (if not even 1500 GS) purples but I couldn`t afford em at the time and than even they were gone in favor of 1 000 000 + Orange or Yellow or whatever that color is things. I watched some equipment guides (from a guy I think is pretty good @ nwn) and in his guide for "devoted" players he says few weeks of time gated HoTM till it is accessible on any GS (a.k.a. in before mode 29 ends) but I don`t like "time gated" and I main other game <and> I don`t know how he is convinced I can clear that 60 or 70k recommended GS content on "any GS"... even if I can it will take me forever... like the weekly will be literal weekly o_0 or something. He cleared it in his video on previous mod (I assume 28 o_0) top high end stuffs so he must be left with the impression anyone else can ~surely do it... Any sort of accessible non time gated content for like 1300~ish weapons you can think of? (That can be done on 37.5 scrapped Barbarian). I mean eventually I will clear all the accessible content on those 3 alts too and muster some Astrals... (over lots of time, because there is new weapon in the other game too... like high, high end which I am actually also bellow... but oh well), but that is not that much of an option. I need to muster 2.5. GS for the next (what I understand Main quest Line) to at least have some more gameplay on my barbarian) But the jump from 37.5 to 40 000 (which is it`s GS requirement for unlock) is surprisingly not easy for someone not as "saturated" on the game as I am at the moment.. thus this long weird questioning.

If you are spending astral diamonds on a companion upgrade you are wasting AD. You get enough free upgrade material to upgrade companions

As a Nioh player and lover i love to hear someone mention a lack of build variety in souls like games. It's one of the main reasons i loved nioh 2 so much.

I wonder if you know a mmo that feels like the old neverwinter when it comes to power fantasy? Returning player from a few years back (Barovia Mod), I have been trying to play for the past month and so and it just feels off for me. (And yes, the AD costs got down by A LOT, I managed to get a full pre endgame paladin tank build just with things from the AH, never had so many legendary and mythic itens before)

It's ever-evolving but the one worst thing is the shitty company Cryptic Studios. They were bought by Deca Games now so the next mod they take over I guess, so everyone's crossing their fingers.

I stopped playing after they nerfed perma stealth rogue into oblivion lol. I did switch to my warrior after that but didnt play much longer . . . Sad to see they are making sure soloing is impossible with gear score modification etc . . .

Played it years ago on PC. While i was a mostly PvP player i still did most of the PvE campains and content across all classes. I did quit somewhere after demigorgon, think around mod9? for the single reason that 1 patch effectivly killed PvP as a whole. The introduction of true dmg for some classes (looking at you combat HR) turned the whole battlefield into 1 shots with no way to defend against. Now i did hop back in after idk how many moduls (think some dungeon with tunder and a big mantis) just to find out that my build didnt change at all and even severly undergeared i could still hold my own which made me quit again a couple hours later. Now the PvE part was the most dissapointing thing in NWO as a whole. I rly hope it changed by now but back then tanks and healers litterly where only every usefull the first 2 weeks after a content launch. After that there was no point in them besides buffs which again, didnt rly matter at all unless you wanted to 1 shot bosses. The group i played with pretty much just solo cleared dungeons 24/7 to max out AD gain for the whole account and hope for decent drops that sell for millions. While that was fun for a bit, it felt rather dull and like a waste of time. Why should i run group dungeons solo to push gear that in the end doesnt matter anyways. Hence my switch to most PvP.
