Adjustable Recurve Bow You Can Make At Home #archery #3dprint
How to make a bow out of tent poles
Or more precisely: How to make your own adjustable recurve bow from fibreglass tent poles and a 3D printer.
My son wanted to make a bundle bow, so I decided to see what I could do with my 3D printer and some discarded tent poles.
I'm not the first to use 3D printing combined with archery or bow making, there are some good and interesting videos out there on the subject, but I believe my reinforced bow handle that accepts tent poles is sturdy, unique, and easy to do at home if you have a 3D printer a piece of sheet metal and old tent poles.

I'm at that stage that i think I need the LPG for colder climates as the Butane I don't think has enough pressure. Or something like that. I can't work out if its the type of gas or the pressure that makes the LPG stove better than a Butane stove.

This is a good incubator, if you keep the humidity at 60 it’s fine for the price, if it gets too low put the put the polystyrene cover that comes with it on and that blocks air getting out and will raise it, I have had 100% success rate with it apart from my dud eggs all chicks hatched and this video is misleading.

I assume you mean opening the monitor and making new holes in the back casing rather than drilling holes in the plastic from the stand. In the description I wrote: "if you don't own or have access to a 3D printer you could always make the tool out of wood if you are a bit handy." You could get a piece of broom handle, drill a hole and sand it to size with a drill or something. See if your local library or some other organisation has a 3D printer. My $149 3D printer has more than paid itself off with all of the useful things I've repaired or made, so it was money well spent.

    • @peterxyz3541
      @peterxyz3541 3 месяца назад

The 3d printer does cost (at least $99 new, with promotion price at microcenter); but, missing the point of this vid: Less money = more brain Or the internet meme: Girl’s voice: “How are you so good in so many things” Guy’s voice, sound of frustration, sound of exhaustion, a bit of prideful flex: “when you’re poor, you learn how to do many things” Or…the point of this vid: Outthink your problems. If I done have a 3d printer (I don’t), I would use a drill attachment (cheap at harborfreight) for sanding. What if it’s the wrong size? Another opportunity for you..me to flex and either roll up extra tape or sand paper to size or spin the attachment against sand paper to reduce the size. “How are you so good with so many things”. “Poverty, baby! Either grow or starve😂”

I know its an old video but there are many vids of these sunkomachines. It appears that the 110v are the most problematic. A simple rewire of the transformer secondary winding will cure the problem . Rewind it with same gauge wire but get as many turns as possible , two three . I havea 240 v model worked on very thin nick3l strip but not so good on the thicker stuff. I rewired it by adding more wire to the supplied winding .vids show how its done . Works verh well now on 60% . Only way to undo welds is tear the metal or grind it off. Have a go it took me a couple of hours and was well worth tge effort.

Bro Yamaha AVC 30 Treble pot has snapped. I cannot use Treble. It looks full of silver metal? like alluminium. The other knobs are long Black plastic stems and work fine. If i can get into the hole and undo the nut can i then replace the pin?

I'm not sure what to do there, can you insert a wire and glue the shaft back together? Or if it needs replacing, assuming it isn't generic a Yamaha service agent may be able to order a replacement pot.

@@FixTechStuff trpuble is there isnt no shaft. Just a filled hole within the hole were the treble button should be. Obviously the shaft snapped some how before i got the amp. I will have to drill whats left and go from there bud.

We have a front loader and haveto leave the door open and put vinegar in it to keep it from mildew smell, Subscribed thank you

Thanks for the subscription! I really like your DIY campers, you make it look easy. We haven't had and problems with mildew yet and I think its because the wife likes to run the machine at 60c which might help kill the mildew. Could also be a climate related thing.

One of the big problems in UK winters is that the propane evaporates first leaving, at half weight, mainly butane which doesn't evaporate quickly enough to give a significant flame. I figure if I refill at that point back to just below the original weight it should allow more of the contents to be used without exceeding the original pressure significantly. Probably the next refill should be back to 3/4 weight, then 1/2 weight. That canister can then be saved for summer use.

I wasn’t aware that was an issue, you might be onto something there.

A THOUSAND thanks for showing how to replace the blasted silicone buttons! It looks much easier than I thought it would be. Otherwise the keyboard is worthless. Cleaned the well where the key sits with alcohol and a brush and the top of button just flew off. Undoubtedly fatigued from being pressed a zillion times in its 13 years of life and use. UGH. Now to find a replacement button from a donor keyboard somewhere... Are the buttons the same on A1315 and A1255 keyboards (different buttons for larger keys of course but for the main keys)?? THANKS!!!!!

Thanks! I'm not sure if they are the same, but should work. You can probably ask someone who is selling individual keys to cut one or 2 out for you instead of supplying a key. I used to cut fully through the membrane as large as possible so people could trim them to how they wanted it.

Mine isn't set up at the moment because I'm making a new arm mount for it, but I don't recall it being a problem. If there is a delay at all, to each their own I guess because it's one of the best things I've ever bought.

From memory night footage was OK. It’s got built IR LED’s. That’s something I should have included with the review.
