SO - my "rig". Now bear in mind my day job is a Software Dev so the PC is definately not an issue (8 core ryzen 7 @4ghz, 64 gbyte Ram., 8Gbyte 1070i with 4 screens). The rest though. My work desk with a G29 bought from eBay for £100 clamped to it. Pedals underneath held in place byt the wall! Office chair held in place with towels wrapped around the feet/castors in a super secret magic way (no it doesnt move at all). including the 2 year cut rate sebscription at christmas total iRacing setup cost ........ £290. And yes I have managed to win a few races with this

I think that committing to one or two series a week would help a lot cuz you won’t be switching combos so much and you’ll be way better in those 2 series by the end of the week

Have you read the iracing November development update? It’s where they announced all the new stuff coming in 2025, I would definitely give it a read if I were you 👍

11:40 if it's at 0 it means it's ticked off by default and the car won't be fast repaired. It's not the fast repair you wanted to be off but the autoResetPitBox not to refuel and change tyres, which was already.

Fyi, if you change anything in the .ini file, the sim has to be closed, or the sim will revert it back. Then save after changing.

change the ini files with the game turned off. I did my settings once and dont have to worry about it again.

This used to always be me when I was in rookies and D class. I would have pole be way quicker but I just made silly errors, and I still do make silly errors, I threw away a P5 in the SF lights today and force myself to have to retire the car so 🤷‍♂️ Happens to the best of us. But great video!!!

I have the Momo Daytona XXL, a bit of the expensive side but it's so damn comfy and nice to race in, would definelty recommend that!

Lights above are for ambient light , you can use hue or govee lights thru SIMHUB to reflect what's happening on the screen or sunlight/tunnels/lights flares in night races. adds to the immersion

Just read an article about lots of people leaving iRacing because of their incident system I've been on an actual race track and consider myself a safe and curious driver But my iRating is all over the map as I'm constantly being shunted into Sometimes being knocked off my pole position!!!

That Will Pierre in the BMW is an impatient knob head. He took you out, spin right after, took out the Mazda. He was an unmitigated disaster! His kind of driver is the worst. I bet he also blames everybody else for his misfortune. He left right after the Mazda incident. Par for the course.

FYI in rolling starts once the safety car is off the leader becomes the safety car. Once he floors it its green flag. There is a delay in iracing but basically once the the leader floors it you floor it

Hey mate what equipment are you using to race and stream? looking at getting into streaming my sim racing journey whilst racing but unsure on what to get.

I have had Lights to flag perfect race on wet Imola in the PCC in the BMW this season. P1 Q, fastest lap, 0 incidents and led every lap. My only perfect run so far and the competition in the BMW was a bit lower. One high ranked guy with little practice had trouble holding pace

This is a good representation of how many dirty braindead drivers there are in ferrari challenge. I got 12x on the first lap from the same guy rear ending me 3 times. iRacing need to take a serious look at the incident point system.

nicholas i reckon you should turn on vc so you can hear their opinions and you can voice yours it’d be a good way to learn and to teach them

Easiest way to get to 4.0 safety rating is by just focussing on being the fastest in your SOF. Sounds boring but at these levels you want to be as far away from the others as possible. What I do is check quali times for the previous races in my SOF range and practice and aim for the top 3 times. Use something like garage 61 to analyze your times compared to others to see where you are losing time if you have to.

A review of the racing incident's afterwards in future vids would be the cherry on top

Ppl being more aggressive on that second race because you have a lower iRating is something you'll deal with most of the time so stay aware of them

Hated red bull week , was lapping 58.2 in Q but never finished a damn race all week , went from A license 3.5 to B license 1.4 and didn't make a single mistake
