Hobby Tutor
США
Добавлен 13 авг 2020
HobbyTutor is the place to learn about various topics!
The definition of hobby is "an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupation", but we disagree with the last point! There is no reason why you cannot enjoy a hobby and eventually turn it into a career. In fact, you are more likely to succeed in your career if you truely enjoy what you do, and who has hobbies that they do not enjoy?
The definition of tutor is "a person who provides assistance or tutelage to one or more people on certain subject areas or skills", and that is why this channel (along with many others on RUclips) exist. We are here to help you learn, and we can do so as a community because many who respond in the comments section are also very knowledgable on the topic discussed in the videos.

This video builds upon our Vector knowledge by explaining a simple GameMaker 2.3 demo application that shows Vector Reflection in action as we calculate bounce vectors of of a non-axis aligned surface. The sourcecode and project are available here: github.com/StubbinMyToe/Bounce You are free to use it for whatever reason, but please leave the credit/comment section as is.
2D Vector Dot Product
Просмотров 624 года назад
In this video I explain how to calculate the dot product of two 2D vectors from the perspective of a graphics or game programmer. I try to keep it simple by not diving into complex math, and still explain it in terms that even a new programmer might understand. If you want more knowledge about the math behind it, a great place is www.khanacademy.org/
2D Vector Normalize

In this video I explain how to normalize a 2D vector (make it a unit vector) from the perspective of a graphics or game programmer. I try to keep it simple by not diving into complex math, and still explain it in terms that even a new programmer might understand. cheers boss
Thanks for this guide. Can you please do a treasure hunting guide.
Thank you.
Great video, thank you much
Awesome guide, thank you! I've recently started playing ABC Archer on Europa. Ultima is kind of a new game for me (I was playing it very long time ago). Can you please suggest what crafter template will be useful to supply my archer with gear?
I'm actually not sure.
Great work.
Yes thanks man, it's so difficult to find stuff about uo classic
Thank you for the nice video.
Just got back in and my imbuer is at 110.9. All from unravelling. I am in no rush just grabbing that useless relic loot and once a I get a few bags I unravel it.
Thanks for making the time to put this together. There is very little information here on youtube regarding the more obscure parts of UO, and even less that do it on OSI. I had no idea wtf imbuing is or how to train it before watching this. 🙇
Just happened on you while searching for a method of calculating all this out. I have always been great with logic, but absolute trash with higher math. Deciding to jump into game programming as a hobby . . . Well, when the last math you remember was pre-algebra from highschool over a decade ago, the results are usually a careful balance between ugly and hilarious. Anyway was exactly what I needed, especially without the terminologies going unexplained or symbols being tossed around without respect to an audiences prior experiences. Kudos, and thank you, for doing the exact opposite of gatekeeping and instead helping individuals like myself get a foothold into the maths and concepts required to turn ideas into action.
I'm a returning player and this guide helps me a lot!!!! Thank you
Great tutorial. Very effective. Using this method exactly I was able to go from 90 to 100 in about 3 hours. Unraveling the remaining junk that was too difficult to unravel below 90, I got from 100.4 to 104 in about 15 mins. From 76 to 104, I've used about 21k citrine, 1k amber (both bought from gypsies in Ilsh) and about 12k magical residue. I found it to be really fast spamming "reimbue last".

Great tutorial, thank you. And for anyone wondering you can also use the same steps with VS 2022
Thank you for this good and informative video about setting up wxWidgets.
Thank you
thanks dude
Thank you
Awesome, thanks!
Really enjoying your videos, very clear and helpful. Keep up the great work, and thanks again.
Thanks
