Porch ceiling from cedar fence pickets

I used fence pickets for the porch ceilings at the cabin project. It's a low cost way to have rough sawn cedar!
Butcher block install with Trend worktop jig in US
Просмотров 66Год назад
I install Allen and Roth Acacia butcher block countertops from Lowe's. The main tools I used were a European style worktop jig from Trend, a Festool Domino for alignment in the corner, and a track saw to make the straight cuts. Thanks for watching!

Did you have to use caulk or anything?
You may want to consider using flat apron flashing next time if it ever gets damaged now you’re going to have to take the roofing off
It would have been nice to see longer video with you explaining what you’re doing instead of a highly edited video with snappy music
So basically your spraying stain which is almost as thin as water ?
Great stuff
mask on.. eff it, mask off!
I've got 10 good windows if someone needs to replace broken or cracked for 84 mc9
Man I love your content you’re gonna be the next big RUclipsr
Cedar has minimal shrinkage right?
What lighting strip did you go with? I've used some behind a floating shelf and it doesn't give off that consistent lighting like this one does.
Super ! :)
What good is the gun when you're spraying the atmosphere??
Where did you buy the cedar pickets?
Why did they take it off the market?
what was the bit used to make them like shiplap? Looks good nice job
It’s a dado set, basically it’s 2 blades with some spacers and chippers between them. Mine is from harbor freight and has cut miles of shiplap
And also thank you 🙏
@@realdanbuildsit great thanks a lot! Appreciate the response’
Brilliant
At least you'll get your steps in climbing up and down a ladder refilling that quart cup!
Fix it and go enjoy your self and your family
for your kids sake stay away from disney
Fix it. Screw Disney though
Sounds like an old 2 stroke Detroit Diesel engine. 8-71?
Yep, 8v71 no turbo
@@realdanbuildsit ive worked on many as a kid helping my dad who was a certifide diesel tech. Those engines sure scream. I remember one engine that i think blew out the turbo seals and ran away until it got red hot and siezed up. It was a military surplus 300kw generator. I ran out the shop bay so fast thinking it was going to grenade and throw pistons and rods at me.
@@rod1499 i have heard of that happening! I made sure to move the throttle by hand to make sure the injector racks were free. If one injector sticks open the rack won’t move so they will all be open on that bank 😬. Thanks for sharing your story, I’m going to be going through the top end of this motor and setting the valves, jakes, and running the rack over the next couple weeks and I’ll record as much as I can
Disney
Bouth sell it and go to Disneyland
no you should fix it so you and your family can have fun with it
Definitely fix it
Fix it!
How much money are you will to blow just to fix it and how much money will you have left to even go to Disney
Fix it
Maravilha que serviço de primeira
Was that a construction master calculator I saw?
Писец...дерево в землю закопали и свес 15 см, сам себе строитель...
Structural posts in the dirt? Thats not good pal
no i co
Great job ! 😀
Respirator?😬
No footings? I know it’s going to be a long while before an issue but won’t those sink in tome
Where I live they have changed regulation that requires the post to sit on footers and the structure must be free-standing and not attached to the house. In the county we can still get away with something that makes more sense, like this.
👍Good job 😉
Overspray city
Well done! Great result 👍👏😉
Thank you for watching and commenting 🙏
@@realdanbuildsit I am also a carpenter, so it is easy for me to see what is good and beautiful 🙂
Great job!! 😃

Prvy diel som videl. Tyto experti zabetonovali do zeme rovno dtevene hranoly.😂😂😂😂
