Why Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato Are Heavily Criticised By Vocal Experts ?
Her BB5’S AR SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😨😨😨😨😨😨😨
Dont forget she also did a Bb5 in Chest voice! In her song „be my baby“ live
The crazy lighting, this being live, crazy choreography still all the focus is on her voice ❤
If we're talking about ease and support it goes to Sohyang, shes so good 😭 tones goes to Ari,her ease is also good
2:30 this one is actually a sharp G5! G#5?
SUPPORTED F#5 OMG
0:32 was actually so good
2:41❤️
2:51 at least she attempted it unlike the live album
1:07 umm
0:06 1:06
We NEED a full version of the song a semitone higher
Comparing an underrated vocalist diva to an overrated big ranged normal singer Ariana got nothing special
what song is that
1:28 1:38
Overall, Sohyang definitely wins, but some of the notes you used for Ari are not her best notes. For example, you used such a tense F#5 for Ari when she has some grounded F#5's (The Way listening sessions New Jersey)
I remember her saying in an interview that she NEVER knew what she said in that part jsjsjsjs neither in the studio nor live. And she said that at the time she simply mumbles the high notes live. But I also think I've seen her say that she said "let them say" in that part"
OMG WHERE WAS 1:28 PLEASE SOMEONE RESPOND THOSE F#5s ATE SO MUCH
Hmt has a an accidental B5 belt in bmb
2:29 where was this at?
Whispers are not part of the vocal range. Wtf??
2:00 oh, my, God!!!!! she killed it
All of them are good, but when i see adele, i see emotion in her vocals, which is the best to me
In this video it shows that Mariah's whistles tend to contain more air and be liuder than Ari's, Ariana's whistles tend to float over the air rather than through it like Mariah's hince her lighter and clearer tone and less volume, Both have showcased the ability to change their tone in whistle although this ability is not as developed in Ari likely do to her actually trying to do whistles in a healthy manner rather than just showcasing you can do it, although I believe Mariah is a more frequent user of whistle and a damn great one (in her prime) I believe even tho Ari uses hers less she has better and healthier technique in whistle hince the quality of her comfort zone in whistles is better, based off what I know of these 2 I think Ari's comfort zone in whistle is approx A5-A6 and I think Mariah's comfort zone is approx E6-E7
Freddie Mercury Alcanzaba Desde A1 Hasta E7, Lo Cual para ser Hombre Es Simplemente Impresionante, Ósea que podría Cantar cómo una mujer si hubiera querido Waw.
Not the growled D6 😭😂
From what live was the 2:04 ?
The word "Baby" really got its own Bb5
With a bit more practice she will actually be able to do A5 vibrato and B5 belt but probably only attemp 1 not 3
It was “BE MY!” “BY MY SIIIDE!”
Ariana is simply just nicer in my ear 🤷my opinions babes mariah is powerful but its not best in my ear
Why are we comparing again?
Her jaw movement is bothering me 😭
Ariana Grande Vocal Analysis Voice type: Light-Lyric Soprano Vocal range: C3-B5-E7 (4 octaves and 2 notes) Range with the most consistent quality, comfort, and technique: G3-C#5/D5-A5 At best: F3-F5-C6 Lower register: (7/10) Low notes are bright and clear and have a good projection up to G3 consistently and F3 at best. Quite surprising for someone with a high tessitura considering her high sitting voice. However, she loses consistency, projection, and becomes airy and weak F3 and below. Mid-belts and mix: (7.5/10) Mid belts are surprisingly strong for someone who frequently utilizes a heady mix in her belts. Her approach in her mid-belts during her later years (2019 onwards) is more balanced compared to her honeymoon era (2014-early 2016) where her approach is more heady and dangerous woman era (late 2016-2017) where her approach is chestier. She has good control over her mid-belts and it is more balanced, consistent, accessible, and more tensionless than people assume resulting in an open, free, well-projected, and controlled sound consistently from G#4 to D5 especially from Bb4 to C5 at her best. She definitely improved this part of her voice over the years. Upper-belts/mix: (7/10) As a soprano like her, her ease and control in this area are good. She may not be the very best and the pinnacle of upper-belting out there, as some of her diehard fans tend to believe, but her consistency and stamina in this area is no joke. Although not consistently, she produces the best and balanced quality from Eb5-F5. As she goes higher beyond F5, she tends to sound thinner but still often avoids straining and too much tension up to G#5 (her signature upper-belting/mix note). However, she loses consistency when she reaches A5 and above which can sometimes be prone to tension, although this doesn't happen much as she was still able to possess a decent quality of mix up to Bb5 especially in her be my baby and breathin performances most of the time. This ease and consistency in her upper-belting range is due to her heady approach with her mix and mixed-belts. Nowadays, she utilizes a more balanced approach (balanced head and chest mix) to her upper-belts/mix especially in her thank u, next and yours truly era. This balanced approach is evidently showcased especially in her sweetener tour and 2023 yours truly 10 year anniversary live performance where she produced a decent but balanced mix. Although she has improved this part of her voice over the years, it has always been consistent in quality and technique with minor flaws and inconsistencies. Upper-register (head voice and falsetto): (7.5/10) Contrary to popular belief, Ariana utilizes her head voice just as much as she utilizes her falsetto. Her falsetto is probably one of the best that pop music has to offer. It is polished, smooth, controlled, and easily accessible. On the other hand, her head voice is also good and is consistently well-coordinated and connected up to A5. Performances such as moonlight, thinkin bout you, be alright, get well soon, and many more including song covers such as no one mourns the wicked and I wanna dance with somebody showcases her control and consistency in her head voice. She may not possess the best and most developed head voice in the music industry, but she can still keep up. Her head voice possesses a bright, strong, and roundness quality consistently up to F#5 and sometimes up to A5. However, her head voice can sometimes sound airy which limits her true potential. Further analysis with her head voice after the wicked (2024) movie will come out with her role as Glinda the good witch. Vocal Agility: (7.5/10) This may be the vocal skill she possess that has consistently improved over the years. She may not be as good as the best riffers out there like Mariah Carey, Tori Kelly, Beyonce, JoJo, and many others, but her vocal agility is definitely above average and is an integral part of her singing style. She can consistently execute vocal riffs and runs that are precise, fast, and complex with good creativity and musicality. The only downside is that there are few performances where she sounds pitchy and unstable and her vocal runs are sometimes repetitive. Lastly, during her early years, she tends to move her jaw a lot and fortunately, she got rid of that habit almost entirely. Whistle register: (9.5/10) One of the best whistle register user in her generation. Able to control her whistle with ease and is also able to create vocal runs and vocal phrases with it. Vocal Dynamics: (6.5/10) She has showcased vocal dynamics from time to time where she sang from pianissimo up to fortissimo. This is greatly showcased in her 2023 yours truly 10 year anniversary live performance. However, there are very rare cases of her showcasing crescendo and decresendo. Vibrato: (10/10) Her vibrato is one of the most controlled and well-developed that pop music has to offer. It can range from soft/subtle to aggressive/intense and can even shift to it smoothly. This great vibrato is also evident throughout all her register especially in her belts and upper-register. Vocal transition: (9/10) Able to easily and smoothly transition between registers from chest to head to whistle and with great control. Pitch: (8/10) Her wide vocal range allows her to hit high notes and low notes with good pitch accuracy. She rarely gets off-key and goes sharp/flat. Vocal stamina: (9/10) She is able to consistently perform in long periods and still able to maintain a decent to good technique and quality while doing a bunch of adlibs. The disadvantages she has with her stamina are the very few vocal performances where her voice got exhausted performing long periods and minor inconsistencies with some of her live vocal performances. Note: this analysis is based on an educated opinion and knowledge about vocals and music. Hence, this analysis is based on what I hear from the vocalist's live performances throughout the years. So feel free to politely disagree. Overall: 8.04/10 Overall comment: She is not as bad as critics say she is and also not as great as diehard fans made her out to be. Her development is distributed fairly evenly throughout range with her mid-belts and upper-register being currently the most developed register. Her major weakness may be that she tends to sing beyond her range with the most consistent quality, comfort, and technique. Fortunately, notes beyond her consistent range are rarely strained, tensed, or weak. Lastly, her biggest asset may be her whistle register, musicality/creativity, vocal stamina, vocal transition, and vibrato. At the end of the day, Ariana Grande is rather a stylistic vocalist with an adequate vocal technique and skill to back up her singing style. She tends to change her singing style depending on the era that she's in.

You should've added that Ariana utilzes head voice just as much as she utilizes falsetto... I hate it when people assume ari only ever uses falsetto in her upper-register where she has showcased multiple times that she can use head voice and even supported it consistently up to G#5/A5...
I'm Great At Singing I Have Over 6 Ocatves Of Range C1 To G7 Is What Everyone Extraordinarily Should Be Doing With 5 Years Of Self Taught Singing With Great Technique And Control You Will Control Notes Like My Range Of C1 To G7 Lmao! Edit: My Vocal Range Is Now C#0 To G#7 Which Is 7 Octaves And 7 Semitones Or 7.58 Octaves Lmao!
Jhud,Sohyang,Patti Labelle, Karen Clarck Sheard are the quenns of Bb5, Ari is the quenn of G#5
It doesn’t really sound like it’s been made higher 😭
I think the D6 is mixed because I’m pretty sure belting in the sixth octave is impossible *when I say that belting in the 6th octave is impossible I mean that the way that singers belt in the 4th and 5th octaves is completely different than how they would do it in the 6th octave, and also at that point it is mixed not belted (I’m pretty sure)
3:11 What Short Is This With That Black Heart?
I don't know about that, man. You picked some really bad examples in some of these years. 2017 and 2019 dropped the ball here with the examples. They just had garbage audio quality and i couldn't hear anything properly. The closest being her Everyday performance, but even then, it wasn't even close. The 1st example of 2018 was also bad. You really should made better examples in this. Use better sources, like her music videos, or lyric videos or official audio videos. These would have worked better.
Ariana knew what she was doing in. 2019 she ate 🤍
Lol real vocal experts love them, they only recieve hate from the vocal experts of RUclips💀😂 you know what i am saying.
Yes, Ariana and Demi deserve more support. They are extremely close to Mariah and even better in some aspects (for example, both Ari and Demi are better than Mariah at upper belts and Ari is better than Mariah at head voice/falsetto) of course they don't have everything that Mariah had (Mariah had a WAY better lower register than both of them although Ari's lower register is better than people think, Mariah had even more control over her whistles than Ari but Ari's whistles are definitely not bad) and everybody says Mariah has great mid belt support but Demi does too! Just watch how nicely Demi supports G4's-B4's it's amazing!
Mariah’s are so full, powerful, clear, yet not piercing or unpleasant to hear
Her low notes have improved SO MUCH!! THAT E3 WOW! That G3 too WITH VIBRATO! So proud of her!
The difference between the honeymoon ones and the sweetener are so big,her growth is so noticeable, the ease
ariana is simply the queen of every note, including B♭5's.
Her tone and vibrato has never sounded better!
