I got this examiner for my second road test try and passed he is great but when I said I’ve been watching the RUclips videos he was like oh did you know that they were recorded illegally? 😭
Y’all unless you get this guy which u can’t choose literally go anywhere the fuck else to get ur license this place is trash. Open course is way better and more realistic of how you’ll be driving on the roads. I’d suggest Chaska, Cambridge, Stillwater, Anoka for those!
I passed ALX! First try and I was nervous because I thought I failed right from the beginning because I struggled to find the high beams and the instructor was curt and rushed me in both of my parkings. She didn’t even let me finish my 90° but she still passed me! What a goat! I also did the road test and everything else pretty good thanks to the videos and learning from their mistakes.
I toook my test today! 01/09/24 and can say I also had Todd and I passed. He wants to pass you from the very beginning, such a helpful spirit soul. He really will try to help you. It was my second time taking the test and can say with the type of instructor he is it will be very easy to follow directions REMEMBER If it does not say one way assume it’s a two way and turn in the right side of that road If it does say one way, turn into the nearest available ( closest left or closer right ).
I took the driving test today 12/14/2023 and I passed. I watched this video 4 times to memorize the roads. I knew he was the instructor when I heard his voice. He is a great man. Thanks Todd.

What if you are in a different number slot and the instructor says go left. What do you do and will the test be kind of the same format that this test is

Just passed today. This video is very helpful BTW. I did not do well in the parallel parking, not very good observation at the Yield sign. Driving a little bit slow. One important thing everbody should know is that, parking is difficult, but if you do not hit the cone, everything will be fine. Observation, give signal, correct lane, and stop at the correct points, those are the most important points.
He had a very understanding driving instructor.. I'm gonna change my appointment to this place..I originally had Plymouth..I hear not so good things about the Plymouth location..I have spoken to people about Arden Hills location and so far I hear decent things.

I just went there this morning! WORST experience ever. took an hour to come to my car and failed me in the first 5 minutes for being cautious. Don’t go there!!

I hope my comment would be helpful with others. Yesterday I took my 1st road test. Unfortunately it's the White Widow be my examiner. Definitely I failed, like most of unlucky people that got this Blonde Short Hair Lady that always wear a Sunglasses. Yes, the famous Arden Hills DMV Killer. She failed all 3 people that 2 in front of mine and include me. A red sedan and a White Highlander. I saw the girl in Highlander cried sadly. I didn't cry because when she pull out my door I know I'm gonna failed. Obviously that girl don't know who she is. OK, no bull shit. Let me tell you, if you got the White Widow, you might still have, maybe 20% chance to pass. Here below are the reasons she gave me that made me failed. Even though I don't buy in with some of her comments, but hope it would be helpful for your guys. 1. If you would like to take a right turn, and there's another car approach that with the same direction of your turn, BUT IN A DIFFERENT LANE, you still need to stop your car to wait until that car pass by. Yes, I totally don't understand why I should wait a different lane car to pass by as we are in different lane, but that's what she told me. So if she's on your car, no argue, wait it. 2. When approaching uncontrolled intersaction, IF IT'S CLEAR TO DRIVE THROUGH, NO NEED TO SLOW DOWN. Yes, WTF, I sware that was what she told me. I mean, you can't be serious lady. How about you told me I'm gonna fail you but I really can't find any faults. I can understand it but don't fool me like that. So anyway, if she's on your car, no speed up, no slow down, just pass it. Or you gave her a reason to fail you. 3. Keep a smooth speed up and slow down. Be careful about the lady, you need to treat her as a cup of FULL WATER. Water out you die! No more comment. I have a question at 5:25 he makes a turn onto the street and he turns to the lane closest to the curb which is correct BUT then he adjusts himself to the other lane (because there are 2 lanes, just unmarked) and he does that without putting on his blinker, idk if I was wrong but wasn’t he supposed to turn his signal on to change to the other lane?

@@dwing7162 you should always signal when switching lanes so u don’t interfere with any possible drivers in the other lane and you should look over your shoulder
My parents keep rushing me and keep scheduling my tests when I’ve failed twice. I never had the behind the wheel lessons and my parents don’t drive as what’s required on my test (which everything has to basically be perfect like wide turns and cutting corners) I have super bad anxiety and it makes me throw up or it like mimicks a heart attack that I had to go to the ER. My test is on Friday and I’m so scared I don’t know what to do I know I’m not ready and I’ve been fr sobbing bc there’s no way I can’t not do it.
Just took my test here recently and I passed on my first try! Watching these videos definitely help you be more familiar with the course. I was so nervous but my advice is try your best to stay calm and confident! Do what you have been doing normally when practicing! Many tips in the comments really DO help so read them. Here are some of mine: - Don’t let your nerves get to the best of you! On the day of your test, clear your mind with good music, meditate, or whatever makes you feel calm! I spent my morning listening to positive affirmations to release most of my anxiety. Here is one that really helped: “I have all the knowledge within me to succeed”! - During the test, take your time and don’t rush. It’ll help you do best. At the beginning of the exam, I asked the instructor who informed me that the recommended speed is 12-15 mph. - Practice your parkings! As long as you understand your wheel and know how to steer it to make you enter the parking spot and not hit the poles, you’ll be fine. I hit the curb on parallel but still passed. - Be aware of the one way, and enter/exit in the correct lane. Hope this helps!
Hey I watched a few Arden hills videos and they’re all somewhat different. In the beginning when pulling out and they say to turn right do I always turn right in the nearest corner or farthest ?

I just passed my license. It took me 2 tries though. My first one was a kind man but I still failed. For my 2nd try i got the man in this video and he’s so nice. If you get him and do mostly everything correct he will pass you. Good Luck
