Tears of the kingdom literally has botw postgame as its starting point.

TP is a little different cause it emphasizes on combos and how different hits technically deal different damage. For instance the last hit of the combo is so strong you only need 3 ( or 4 I don’t remember) to get through the final phase of the Zant fight. And if you don’t remember he teleports away after like every hit making it an annoying fight. Still unfortunate that the base hits need that many for the Stalfos though.

Twilight princess was the perfect synthesis of my two favorite Zelda games, OoT and ALTtP, and I love it for that.

Nintendo needs to remake ocarina of time and its sequel twilight princess. For sure. Its the most iconic zelda game set. They did great with the original zelda remake, they only messed up frame rate optimization. Wind waker was also awesome. The current series is great but feels finished.

Why has no one read the manga?

I've been a zelda fan since around 02 when I got a gamecube with the collectors edition disc where I played OoT and MM (it had Zelda 1 and II, but I was no good at those compared to OoT and MM. Plus, I was like 7-8 years old. Couldn't fight Gohma because giant spider so I had my mom do it lol.) When I got TP, I fell in LOVE. My favorite Zelda game of all time! The graphics, the story, werewolf, everything! The amount of time I ran around castle town scaring the guards for free arrows is endless. The playing fetch with the dogs. HOLDING THE DOGS! Nothing will top TP.

Thankfully every change they made was incredible. Twilight Princess is still in my top 3 Zelda games to this day

Not fatique, the motion controls weren't fun, were limiting, and not cool to watch my guy have a stroke while fighting bosses. It was the very last zelda game i played. I remember getting bored with the story when the goddess showed up, and how straightforward the game played. So no real exploration or surprises. I enjoyed a lot of it, but i wouldve enjoyed it a lot more if the controls were the same as past zelda.

ToTK feels like the product of confused and messy development. The two most concerning things I’ve heard after release were that the art team somehow overruled the lead devs’ ambition to create more sky islands because they “were making the sky too cluttered”, and that they deliberately repeated elements of BoTW as to make the experience more familiar.

The strongest one I think would be the one from Hyrule Warriors.

Love the list. I would move a few around on my personal list, but I respect your perspective. I agree on Tears of the Kingdom being outside of the top 5. It was a phenomenal game and in many ways improved upon Breath of the Wild, but I find BoTW more compelling and more replayable
