i love how creative layer 2 is, none of the samples have a lowered pitch and are instead pitchmapped, yet it still succeeds in sounding unfamiliar. i couldnt even recognize increasingly absorbed in his own world was there

How was I able to identify a stage 1 song in stage 4 just with my ears!?
I did not realize that A1 was also there during the C3 clarities. It feels like a duet between the two, like the person who’s going through this is trying to remember, but both memories blend into eachother

How does the background hissing in the beginning work?
@@StormChaserJuan Kirby used a plugin called Valhalla Shimmer, which creates that hissing sound by increasing the pitch of the reverb in increments of 9.25 semitones

Lemme tell y’all something: There is something personal for me with Russian Rose and False memory syndrome (track). Russian Rose itself felt familiar to me and it reminded me of one particular blue; a blue that is light at the bottom and gets darker as you go up… it’s hard to explain. Russian Rose also gives me nostalgic feelings of my youth when I flew airplanes where I also saw that blue from earlier and those clouds. Just those simple things just happen inside me. Russian Rose really gave me some kind of false memory and I can understand why The Caretaker sampled it for PROP. And here we see that false memory deteriorate slowly. Could this mean that The Caretaker’s false memory is also personal for him too? Maybe. But that’s only a theory.

im guessing All you are is enterilly droned, while Mournful cameraderie is still droned but you still can hear the original sample
@@joose7117 isn't the droned the undroned version (one with reverb applied) panned to the opposite sides in Mournful Cameraderie if i'm not mistaking? (might be outdated info)
