Aaron. Good to meet you this evening at the Forloh store...
Great to meet you as well! Feel free to hit me up anytime.
Wow! 170 lbs is way more than I want on my back at once! Great products!
I’m 6’1” 36” waist what size would I order?
Call them and speak to Mark. My guess is a medium belt on 25" stays
I’ve had the same problem with other packs digging into my hip bones. I have a 33/34 inch waist do you end up bottoming out the medium belt? Or do you have some play?
I was recommended a medium, but being a 34" waist, I would say a small is better. I only have about an inch of webbing on each side fully cinched down
I am very intrigued by the pack, especially the molle on the hip belt. I run a bottle on my hip and this new system answers the issue of clearance for those running a Nalgene style bottle . One question I have is this…. There is no support between the two carbon stays. I know Steve did this purposely. If you flex the frame inward, is there any barreling? I run another brand and have been happy with it. But I am very intrigued with Exo’s innovation on this new system.
I have not loaded it with weight or taken it outside yet, but just messing with it, it is stout and no barreling at all. Very rigid.
@@viamoutdoors3455 thanks I appreciate it. How wide (tall) is the hip belt? It looks pretty substantial and really caught my eye. My packs belt seems narrower in profile and is something I have questioned.
At the tallest point, it's 6.75" tall, and the widthe is 33.5" from one side all the way across
There are carbon supports between the flat stays that prevent the barreling. At approximately 10:30 mark of the linked video Steve goes over barreling and how the frame prevents it with the carbon support between the two flat stays. ruclips.net/video/mqQ3zsx_nUo/видео.html
@@dirtfishingdad_2_34 thanks for the info. I just watched that last night and that was the final thing that sold me on the frame. My SG flexes or barrels when tensioned down tight with a heavy load. So I did not want to get into a similar situation with a new pack system. Thanks again!
What is the width and height of the lumbar pad?
6.5"Tx8"W
Decent option if you can’t afford a kifaru..
That's why there are more than one brand for everything
Lol that's funny
@@kevintabor6586 funny, but also true.
I agree
Nice. Got mine yesterday. Pretty sweet and love the fit so far compared to my k3. Looking to get it out this weekend.
👊
Nice you got one already! What height frame, you said medium, but did you mean the 25"? I'm 6'3" as well and would use a 26.5" personally. 5000 looks to be the only model with the front stretch zip on the left hand side when looking striaght at it. I didn't like that the K3 3600 only had front stretch pocket access from the top. The K3 4800 was perfect. I like that they adopted that idea across all models this year. I like that they added zips to the side (spotter) pockets as well.
Hey wade, I got the medium belt with 26.5 frame. Sorry for the confusion. So far all the compartments and zippers are great. I went with the 5k for the extra zippers too
Probably wouldn’t have posted that on RUclips.
I understand, but this is how it went down. Better that we recovered it than it being left wounded. Not everything is lined up perfect in life, this shows it. Best thing is, that t was recovered
So awesome man
This is awesome!!!
One of the many products perks I’m looking forward to about being an ex Californian soon it’s I’ll be able to need one of those 🤩
Arguably the most used item in my pack. One of the items that never leaves my pack, it’s a picnic blanket when I’m hiking with my family, ground cloth for my pad if I can’t find trees to set up my hammock, emergency shelter, sun shade and one of these days I’ll hopefully even get to put meat on it while I’m cutting up an animal 🤞🏼
Awesome!
Nice
Legit I will. Ty
I like
You have my attention.
Best bags ever. Perfect to keep me organized, I use these for everything.
If we could only get Orange in individual sizes.
Hey, we are getting our inventory buit up on sets, and individual bags will be ready by the end of the month! Been a hot request!!
@@viamoutdoors3455 Awesome 👌 been waiting a year. Got some from a competitor but I like Viam better. So I'm gonna order several medium in Orange when I can.
So much quicker then me being OCD and folding the CC divide into the bag 🤣
GREAT PRODUCTS
Awesome!!!
Like it 👊🏻
Got your quilt and I love the thing!
Your pack organization bags are awesome!! I have a set and i bought my son a set. Great quality at a great price.
Which tarp would I use if I wanted a floor?
Hey Shane, we can/do make floors for several of our shelters. Give us a call and we can figure out which one will work for you.

I use borax on my cloth/ nylon bags
Excellent haven’t used mine yet but good to know 👍🏻

Excellent
Excellent 👍🏻
I’ll be ordering one 👍🏻
Thats perfect
In my experience 8x42 is much better for bowhunting. Better field of view and better in low light
Whats your impression after using them for about a year?
+4826jarontheman I still love them. Great in low light
why did you decide to go with the maven over the Vortex Razor at about the same price point?
+4826jarontheman I decided to go with the Maven over the Razor as I felt they were crisper and better light transmission in low light
nice,thanks for the video,looking great.
Just an FYI, it is not 26 degrees around :)
