I get the idea is your supposed to have every type of Pikmin to counter the different phases but you can completely cheese this fight with purple and glow Pikmin. Just use the glow Pikmin to take care of the environment hazards and purple to wail on the dog.

My favorite part of this is how it incorporates pieces of the titan dweevil's theme from pikmin 2, it's most noticeable at 0:55 and in the baseline at 1:03, but there might be more bits I'm missing. I like how it ties back to this moment, but instead of the ambiguity of Louie's roll, here he is unambiguous that he's fully in control and ready to KILL YOU

I LOVE that they included odd time signatures into this, it really gives us insight into Louie’s mind. He’s a complete and utter lunatic, sure, but he’s also an absolute idiot. Yes, he did try to kill people who were trying to rescue him, (on two separate occasions,) but he’s so dumb he doesn’t even know WHAT he’s even doing half of the time. As the track goes on and you beat common sense back into him, the track slowly becomes more stable and regular, like he’s starting to realise what’s REALLY happening. But, eh, this whole thing’s a power trip and a half so he’s going to enjoy this at least for a LITTLE while longer.

Such an awesome game. The story was simple but effective, great gameplay, awesome soundtrack, and was just overall insanely charming. Sure it was a little easy, but there was enough challenge in certain areas to keep things fresh. Really felt like a complete game packed with content, which unfortunately I guess the standard has been lowered from many modern games. Hoping Pikmin 5 will eventually exist, ideally within the reasonable future.
