Most of the rock bands dynamics in the 60's and 70's was all about the vocalist and the guitarrist!(Rolling Stones;Led Zeppelin;...).The Who were the only exception.The lead singer and guitar player were completely left in the shadow by the bass player and drummer!👍
I love the near chaos of this interview. This actually rarely happens on entertainment shows in general. And it isn't time sensitive, whether in the seventies up until now, there hasn't been that many. But like Crispin Glover or Andy Kaufman on David Letterman, or Norman Mailer on Dick Cavett, although there are funny moments, there are rarely times you think it might go too out of control.
My sister in law was a flight attendant back in the late 60's and throughout the 1970's into the early 1980's and she met many famous people flying on planes she was working on -- two stories stand out - 1- that The Who really smelled from B.O. aka body odor. 2- Coretta Scott King would not speak to her directly, she would tell her assistant who was sitting next to her what she wanted and the assistant would then tell the flight attendant - guess MLK's wife didn't get the memo that CFA's lives matter too -- CFA stands for Caucasian Flight Attendants
If it was the other way around and your sister-in-law was black, there would have been marches and parades in the streets!!!! Also too, if CSK was not served because she was black!!!!
