Casual Backroads in Ellijay Georgia
Just a casual cruise along the backroads in Ellijay Georgia heading north out of town into the mountains. A few friends had asked if I could just upload a simple moto video like this with the original audio so here you go. Definitely working on a better mic setup for future videos.

I was just waiting to turn left and suddenly a moron caused this mess. I began backpedaling and it kept me from being under the truck. I’m ok just bruised and the bike is ok just minor scrapes. Just another reminder that no matter how safe of a rider you are, it won't stop other people from being dumb. #motorcycle #motorcyclelife #motorcycleawareness

In this video I perform my first oil change on my new Suzuki V-Strom 800DE Adventure. I also give you a quick tour around the skid plate and supports while doing the service. Supplies and Tools needed: - 4 qt of 4t motorcycle oil (I know I only show 3 in the video at first but comment later that you need a 4th) - Suzuki Oil Filter ITEM # 16510-07J00 (Suzuki's site) - Crush washer ITEM # 09168-1...

While visiting Pensacola, FL with friends I went on my first group ride! We were a motley crew of vehicles. I was on my DR650, my friends were on a Burgman 400 and a Vespa 300 SuperSport. We had a blast in spite of the heat! Cameras used were Gopro Hero 5 Session (rear view), Insta360 Go2 (rider view of me), 2x DJI Action 2 (helmet cam on me and my friend Marc on the Burgman) Music by Movovi App.

    Great video! I have my center stand sitting in my garage because Suzuki’s instructions say to ‘remove footrests’ but it seems quite a bit more involved than just unscrewing a few bolts. I’d love to see a tutorial video on what all you removed to put the center stand on!

    • @BudgetAdventures
      @BudgetAdventures 5 месяцев назад

      The most difficult part of that install was getting the springs installed. As far as what has to come off you’re correct the foot pegs do have to be removed but they’re very easy to do. The biggest thing is remembering the kickstand also has to come off to give access so you have to support the bike another way

      Not that I know of. It’s pretty obvious if a machine has been abused or not maintained so that’s when that kind of thing would come up. I do my own maintenance on all of my vehicles mostly because I want to know the vehicle better and understand how it works

    So there are mainly 2 types of seats Commuter & Comfort. Commuter is wider, was this the reason you purchased it, or any other reasons for your choice.

    • @BudgetAdventures
      @BudgetAdventures 8 месяцев назад

      Yes for me one of the main drawbacks of the oem seat is how narrow it is. The commuter was much more comfortable on long rides but still narrow enough at the front that standing up wasnt an issue.

    My aftermarket seat is three times more padded than purchase. For I-5 ride from Canada and two hours south of San Francisco. That includes field, river banking, plus other non-tracked interests. And the I-5 return journey. With Suzuki issued or other less comfy buttock support I have to use just about every Interstate rest stop or risk a blistering case of Monkey-butt.
