@@Pystdammit thanks for chipping in! While I’ve experienced less than that… especially when dealing with well water… it’s always relieving to get 4gpm from a house. For those reading and wondering, once your water pump crosses that GPM rating, dont forget to get a buffer tank!

@@joe89chev this is a tough one. Water alone will not get it… and SOME chemicals are able to at least lighten the stains. Good luck! I have had to invest in chemicals to have any luck.

@@jane2100 depends where it’s leaking! There are 2 common size of orings used (that I replace all of the time) with pressure washing hoses and wands. There’s a size that fits the hose and a smaller size that fits the end of the wand where the top goes in. Maybe bring the old one with you to a store to match it if possible? Then there are garden hose o rings and others that are changed less often.

@@marclaprade3889 the one with the red spray nozzle? While links are tricky on here, if you search something like “Electric booster pump pressure washing” or “Velocity Stainless steel 33gpm booster pump” you should see what I was specifically using during this video. They are hit and miss with people so be cautious before you buy. When they work, they work great! But… they are high maintenance and pricey compared to similar products. It’s faster but there are lots of “down days” where you are waiting for parts… so have a backup. Keep in mind that I did have a pressure washer on hand to take care of anything really stubborn. Usually something in the 4-6GPM range(with the right tip while being careful) works good once you need pressure for situations with lichen growth. Thanks for the question!

@@Farmer_26 I think a unit that’s between 2000-3500 psi going for 2-3 gallons per minute (GPM) is great for household use. That’s just my opinion! Good luck!

This one is interesting. How long did you wait in between stopping and trying to spray? Water pumps need some time to “load”… it sounds like it’s changing gears once you go to spray. That said, it could be a lot of things. The pressure washer motor, the water pump, the water flow from the source (like a house), the washer could simply be dying… I wish I could help! I’d start with my sure there is good water flow going to the washer and making sure you have good oil in the pressure water motor AND water pump… and go from there.

@@ThatMillennialDad I didn't time how long I had to wait. The second time it didn't respond to my pushing the trigger, I just gave up, disconnected the hose and unplugged the pressure washer, and then just washed everything with just a hose and nozzle. There was a slow leak where the hose connects to the pressure washer, that probably didn't help. It has an on/off pedal, looks like every other time you push it you turn it on and every other time you push it you turn it off. Like a toggle switch. So you can't tell if you're turing it on or off. But I pressed it and then the trigger many times, and no spray for a while after I let go of the trigger. It might well have kept spraying if I'd kept holding onto the trigger, who knows.

It depends on the color and how dirty it is. I always have a pack of new microfiber cloths with me. Sometimes, it saves a TON of time to just “detail” with a clean cloth rather than rinse over and over again. Good question!

Hey! Good question. The ratio depends on what you are washing and how dirty it is! Also consider the strength of what you’re mixing with water in the pump sprayer. If you’re using full strength chlorinated bleach (SH), it’s between 10-12% in the jug which is really strong. You want to dilute it down to 1-2% in most cases. You have to be careful if you go stronger than that. I’ve done 5% in some unusual cases… like with Screens with heavy lichen. (Overspray will kill things though). It was to loosen it up for washing. If it’s a jug of something like a mildew remover (which usually is a prediluted version of the SH concentrate), maybe you would be fine to go 50-50. Some of those even sell their projects in bottles with sprayers that hookup to a garden hose so you can skip the pump sprayer. Hope that helps! Don’t forget to empty and rinse your pump sprayer once you’re done.

Hello! This depends on where you are in the world and how fast it gets dirty. In the southeast USA, I recommend once a year. The recommendation sounds… odd! You don’t have to rewash in 3 months unless you are planning to paint or do something specific. There is no advantage to doing it that often due to it being brick. I hope that helps!

You’re welcome and thanks for the comment! Getting to the questions: -for the SETTING, pay attention to the degree number/color of the tip. For brick, I would try the 25 degree/green tip and be careful with your distance (like in the b-roll of the video). If the brick is in good condition, this shouldn’t be a problem but be cautious as you go. - As far as the chemical, something like “mean green” can help. If you are going to spray it through your pressure washer, make sure you rinse it when you are done by putting water in the soap tank. Some of their products do have diluted chlorinated bleach in them. That’s what will rust things from the inside out if you’re not careful! Brick doesn’t need a specific cleaner, but I’ll note that some of those common cleaners make it a little easier since it’s a very porous surface. Thanks for the question! In my opinion, this type of paintable truck liner is the best option for what you’re talking about. 2 coats of this would stand up great against tools and abuse! It’s is rubberized which I think gives it a bit of advantage for how you’ll be using it. Re-coating is always good since it’s not bulletproof but it holds up. Again, it’s my opinion. I hope whatever you choose works great for your trailer!
