Years ago I sold kits. I no longer do. The FCG Lite is so simple to make no kit is really needed.

Breathing new life into a classic prop! I think the blue led upgrade looks great.
Thank you for the opinion. I agree. I am still studying on moving versions, but that would require larger irises and soft-glow surrounds to read properly, along with contrasting eyeliner. Opinion?

Mr. Ferguson, Thank you for sharing this prop - Likely the most reproduced animation in the yard haunting community. The mesmerizing effect fits every haunted display and every visitor is drawn to it. This was a true winner back then and lives on as a big hit today.

We built one of these for our haunt over 20 years ago and it’s still going strong.
Excellent! If you have the Dayton motor, you can easily get 30-40 years with no trouble.

I was obsessed with all things Halloween and I stumbled across your website and was instantly hooked. My dad helped me make my very first crank ghost with the instructions from your website! I'm 36 years old now and I'm proud to say that I still have that very same crank ghost flying at my house and it's still the neighborhood favorite. Phantasmechanics holds a special place in my heart and it's so rare to get to thank such a huge influence on my love of Halloween and crafting. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I was indeed, along with Mr. Axworthy of the Axworthy Flying Ghost (AFG). It was a really heady time, and internet Halloween began there around 1990.

Great! There will soon be more to come. This year, finishing the Halloween music album is a priority (see the Danse Macabre video on this channel for a preview). I had not really though about a rapid influx of new members, but i will respond with more posts ASAP!
Top-notch performance, recording, and originality. Something to enjoy. Will the album be available as DVD, so that those beautiful videos can be enjoyed too?
I will make the videos available. DVD cannot do HD, which is a real issue. I will soon have it up for downloading from Google Drive. Any and all videos I do for the album will be handled the same way. ^_^ The album will probably be released through Bandcamp and iTunes.
@@dougwferg OK, i didn't know that about DVD and HD. i'm very antique in media techniques. Still running "Switched on Bach" from the vinyl! Wishing you lots of success with the album and will be looking for any notification on Bandcamp availability.

Alas, no. I would probably lack the discipline to become work-ably proficient at it. When I need such effects I go to my Moog and use a lot of pitch and mod wheel. Please tell Anton 'hi' for me!

I actually bought the fully built version from (I believe) Doug many years ago and have been flying my ghost proudly nearly every Halloween since. 3 homes later, it still works perfectly! A great tip Doug shared was to NOT over-light the ghost! You don't need to saturate it in black light. Have fun!
