I havent played in a while but starting as a loner or clear sky you dont need the armor, most times ill find an overcoat or basic tools quite fast (overcoat needs field armor kit to repair)

if the mission says "Stay sheltered" it means you are already safe. If not the mission would be "Find shelter" or something like that, I do not remember the exact text.

I think that mission is bugged, never-ending. I tried a few times and then failed it on purpose after killing man I needed to kill. It's absurd to stand against whole platoon, maybe even reinforeced.

Try the Western Goods mod, it includes things like new magazines (with effects), a Bic lighter, a Zippo (refillable with kerosene, tho it often gets bugged and stays at 100%), food and drinks, and stuff like that. Using a lighter is so much more efficient that you'll end up _selling_ matches instead of constantly buying them. All the veteran stalkers know you need to get yourself a lighter, idk why all these rookies constantly use matches. I think it's a conspiracy by traders to keep stalkers dependent on them, if you ask me. IDK who smuggled in the lighters, but you gotta get you one.

I did not remember Emissions in this game being so totally VIOLENT. Kinda miss it in S2

It hurts to see you make so much progress and then this episode especially it really comes crashing down. Still no deaths but it's like all the momentum just smacked straight into a wall.

I went leather jacket, respirator, m1911, kiparis, and loaded up on meds as Loner. I do think thompson is the optimal choice, but 9x18 AP actually has very good pen for the south, is dirt cheap, and is available from trader rep 1 by default. Getting basic tools is easy enough that you can get a light suit and mask repaired pretty quickly anyways. Meds however, are very expensive.

I have searched and searched for a youtuber, who is not only a big fan of the STALKER series, but also does a good job of immersion and commentating a long the progress of the game. I have FINALLY found this youtube channel and I am looking forward to experiencing Heart of Chornobyl! Now, as we say in the zone: Get out of here stalker!

Dude, finding Bes' rifle, especially two of them bro Legendary. I remember helping Bes in the Garbage in Shadow of Chornobyl, the easiest way to get a suppressed AK early in the game was to wait for more bandits to show up after and kill him, then take his special upgraded rifle. It even has the same name. That's a callback.

Heya! Great series so far, been definitely exciting, here's some thoughts from my side: 1. I really like the new brightness/harder shadows feel. A lot more atmospheric, feels better for sure 2. I strongly am a believer of not starting another series. I say this a little shamelessly, as I *really* like this series currently. It'll take a while I imagine before the next UNISIG video, and having to wait even more due to a new sin run would feel bad (Although again, it's more of a selfish thing) 3. The new animations and stuff from the updates are super cool. You have new arms as well! You used to have M81 camo, but now it's Multicam. The shoulder lean is immaculate too Thanks, and can't wait for more UNISIG content, it's been a blast!

Back in the army, we had a bunch of different Soviet optics knocking about for testing/identification purposes and I can safely say that most of them are *pure dogshit*. Poorly made, bad ergonomics, bad seals (moisture in even brand new scopes), bad coatings, everything is 2x bigger than the western counterparts. I think only the 3-10x Giperon was kinda decent, and even that looked like someone made it with an axe inside. Not to mention the comical lack of quality control. I've seen lens elements in the wrong order, backwards or entirely missing, depending on how drunk Ivan was that day when he made it. I'd go for the western shit any day...

for some reason the radiation resistance when holding ctrl on armor/helmets is bugged right now, it wont tell you the correct value until repaired (even when holding ctrl) so you kinda just have to guess or have some knowledge

Nice to see you back! You could buy the better knife instead of that specnaz one though.. Also the voyager suit at 28:20 is one of the best armors right now alongside the wastelander because of the 5 belt slot capability.

I like starting in Cordon as military just because fighting my way to the Agroprom base is fun. I mean if you're playing military you kinda want to be murdering as many other people as possible.
