Bubbles was so USELESS especially when your rival had a stronger type and did literally nothing to them. Good that it's gone, same with Cut, it was a shame to have a strong mon with that move only because "it's a MO! They can't forget it so easily but you need it for the adventure anyway, lmao!" for fucks sake.

in gen 1, rock slide occupies the space that was previously used for starmie's removed signature move, star freeze (can still be seen on its pokemon card). many think this sound effect is a leftover from that which is why it's so unfitting for rock slide

I assume Return/Frustration and Pursuit aren't included for being from gen 2 right? Great vid. The only ones I truly miss are Bone club and Bonemerang, they could have buffed the latter with being able to hit flying types, would give it a niche.

Honestly, the only move I won't miss is Razor Wind. I'd count it as the worst attacking move in the game, even Poison Point is better than that.

Nightmare isnsuch a cool concept concept for a move, but it's WAY WAY too niche to ever be useful.

Gamefreak could've easily added powerful, low accuracy moves that would synergise with this. But, the least accurate moves these Pokémon had were: Thunder, Blizzard, Inferno and Focus Miss. Thunder & Blizzard had always-hit conditions in weather and few Pokémon learnt Inferno with a movepool that had Mind Reader/Lock-On. Such a missed opportunity.
