I'm sad this got turned into Jacked up. Don't get me wrong, Jacked up is a good song and now we have 2 songs, but I wish this was on a studio album. Such a beautiful song with the sound that I love from Weezer. Raw, Natural and this desperate melancholic vibe...

The only problem with make believe is that the tracklist sequencing is terrible. Keep in mind that this album opens with Beverly Hills and ends with Haunt You Every Day

It's interesting, merely as a bridge between the original A5 Demos version of the song (the name escapes me atm) and the final version, which I absolutely prefer. But I'm admittedly a big Cars/new wave fan, which it homages. I dunno, I think people have a tendency to over-romanticize demo/early versions. The big riff parts could have bene re-used as the basis of another song.

This sounds so much like Sofia by Clairo. And if im not mistaken, this was probably made decades before that song even released.

This song is beautiful. Same with the later version of Hawaii. I think maybe 9. I’ll never understand how Rivers picks which songs go on which album. White was a great album, but I would have taken this song over All Jacked Up even if I like that song.
