How to: Change Rear Bike Wheel Tube with Axle Nuts (WITHOUT LEVER)
Просмотров 2 тыс.4 года назад
Hey There! This video is a complete rundown on how to change a bike tube. The tube I'm replacing in this video is a 24" rear axle with an axle nut. If you have a Quick Release axle, it should be a lot simpler than this video. This is the first ever video I have ever been recorded on, as well as first video I have ever edited as well as uploaded. So if you can, don't be too harsh :) Time Stamps:...
26×800 tube and tire cost
That's what I sound like when I stub my toe 😂
My bike is 700 x 38 c can put a wider tyre?
How to fix them?
😭thank you for making this video none of my google/bing results gave me anything useful and I'm a complete dud when it comes to bikes bc I get so overwhelmed with the sheer volume of random stuff one could possibly know about them lol
Please give me your address
24x 2.125
Lol. I thought I have a bent derailleur, but here I am, thrilled that mine isn't looking 100x as bad as this 😅😊
Thx!!! Much appreciated.
YO MY DAD WOKE UP AND HE WAS LIKE WTF WAS THAT SOUND😂
Thank you for sharing
The gears looked to be bent as well is that an issue?
Mine seid 29 x 2.30 but I got some it was wrong size
That bike needs therapy after that abuse
should have used a chisel to collapse the nut and pull it out intact. Dont bother drilling it, instead just retighen it. OR use chisel to collapse it.
Thanks so much!!
I am converting my mountain bike, it came with 24x1.95 stock, I want to convert it into a gravel bike, would a 24x1.50 Gravel tyre fit? Thanks
Did you end up finding out?
Mine is more worst it's so loud that people told me you need to fix your brakes
Mine are 10 times louder
Thanks from Raleigh, North Carolina for the conversion table!
Scratched the shit out of the frame eyes
HOW DID THAT GET THTA MUCH BENT BRO , LIKE HOW ???!!!??
A hard crash will bend anythin
@@Vertaego yeah makes sense, but it shouldnt be natural
This is a good ass video, thank you.
my bike tire reads (26-622) 700x26C. I can't find tubes for it. It's not even on the conversion table. What do I do?
Hi.. firstly, thanks for the videos. but, How are they both in millimeters one is 700 and the other is 622?
Top vid.
this video is very helpful and it shows exactly how the inner tube is being replaced. Well done! May i ask if i were to change the set of gear to Shimano,, will there be hoes for me to mount the gearshifter? I am new to bicycle repair. Anyway nice video. very helpful
Wow how unbelievably useless this video is! Did you break your arm patting yourself on the back? I mean that quarter-inch wobble is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard to fix. So haaaaaaaaaaaard
it was easy to convert to a boost wheel but the frame is not boost thats the problem
Great vid. Shame the tool is so expensive and unlikely to be used more than once in a lifetime lol. Worth putting some grease around that bolt stop it seizing again.
Dezz nut ☠️ 1:28
R U still asking listeners to send messages and questions here? The reason for this: If a tire is "knobby" (has "knobs"), do you include the "knobs" in the measurement?
Perfect! I managed to straighten it using just an Allen wrench, using a pulsating motion.
Thank you!
Tutorial please😂
so. the bike tire industry identifies as they/stupid
dt swiss sell these for each of their hubs, at least in europe
We did email them and they said they had some for the rear just not the front! Maybe but yes, maybe Europe stock is different
oh youre right. Dt swiss say, you can only convert boost hubs to 15x110mm not non boost hubs. THe mrp kit also should work since it has an adapter to move the brake caliper inwards@@supatanbikesco.2097
Awesome Video! Is it possible to put road bike tires on a mountain bike with 26 x 1.95 tires on it? Thanks!
Is this possible with all mtbs or do some lack enough room in the bottom bracket area? Also do you run the Bike Blvd website?
In your road bike example how does 53 x 599 mm convert to 26 x 1.95 inches? 53mm is 2.09 inches and 599mm is 23.58 inches. Even more confusing is the lettering on my ebike Kenda Juggernaut tire, 100/90-22, which I'm told converts to 26 x 4 inches. The Kenda lettering looks like a car tire sizing which converts to 3.94 inches wide, 90% sidewall profile, and 29.09 inches tall (for a 22-inch rim diameter). If I measure the tire diameter from top to bottom with a tape measure I indeed get 29 inches, so why do they say the size of this tire is 26 x 4?
NOW, I know the difference between boosted and non-boosted hubs.
Thank you so much
Thanks!
Someone's asking me about .8 or 1.2??? I do not see that on my 700x23c tires. Do you know what this person is talking about? Thanks. Been riding bikes all my life. I've never been questioned on this before and I'm selling one now. What a pain.
Thank you, just trying to know the information on sidewall and now I understand.
Hay que tener en cuenta de que las postizas tiene una tolerancia límite. Si a pesar de que se enderezó con la herramienta se muestra fisuras, hay que cambiarla irremediablemente.
It’s easier to take the forks off to get the bit out that’s fallen inside the down tube, and if you’re doing this on the seat tube you can take the seat post out.
What about a seatstay?
seat tube not work, nut will get caught in the grease on the crank.
Did you have any issues with chain line and getting to top cog?
Hey, this conversation was for the front wheel, for rear wheels I’m sure chainline shouldn’t change if you’re using the correct adapters for the rear wheel!
Is there any way to do it with allen keys and some pliers
Mine is the hanger and the frame😔
Condolences my friend, in desperate times one might deem a blowtorch as a good option.
