Baldur's Gate 3 - Scelaritas Fel Introduces Himself

Scelaritas Fel's brings tidings with his first introduction! As far as I know, Scelaritas Fel only appears in the Dark Urge playthrough. He appears randomly (similar to Raphael) except he shows up at your camp. This is the first encounter with the little guy.
Baldur's Gate 3 - Withers intervenes after the Dark Urge defies Bhaal! (Act 3)
Просмотров 1,7 млнГод назад
I was extremely shocked when I came across this on my third playthrough. After I decided to defy Bhaal and he killed me, the screen goes dark and I was expecting the credits to roll at that point... To my surprise, good old Withers appears and resurrects me. I decided to look up info on Withers and mostly just see complaints about bugs about him not appearing in camp, so decided to upload this ...
It’s so edged the god of murder speaks through a puddle of blood. Whoever made this questline is a mega goth lol
Withers: screw the rules, im bone daddy
Ive never done a Durge run, so I've never seen this before. That being said, I already liked Withers, but this just solidified him as one of my favorites lol.
*“I am your monster no longer.”*
SICK
This give more credence to the theory that Withers is secretly Jergal
It’s barely a theory due to how much evidence supports it
Withers saw that the urge wouldn’t get to finally live their life as their own person and said screw the rules I’m bringing them back!
Smithers
Again, CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW INCREDIBLE THE WRITING OF THIS GAME IS?!
Holy crap Withers does that!? I mean, Jergal.
Withers to Dead Three: "Skill issue."
6:35 why is her face veiny?
Withers makes me think of a nice Pinhead. Its the voice.
Everyone is Oh Withers is such a badass but what he really is is the truest bro that ever bro'ed
"Death shall not claim thee whilst I endure." D-did Withers just make us immortal?
I'd be like, "Can you please fix the literally HOT tiefling over there who might be crying her head off with me dead on the floor?
Withers spent nigh on eternity separating himself from mortal trivialities but now in his retirement he seeks only to reconnect with what he spurned.
It’s crazy how brutal the game gets after act 1. I mean yeah there were some things, like the hag and the goblins eating people, but 2 and 3 are brutal
Withers is the ex god of death jergal
Withers is a customer service worker who's had too much to deal with to give a damn. "Yeah, we're not supposed to, but screw the bosses."
"im free of that murder curse! Im free to do anything! Free!......to kill Again"
this scene is so badass
He really ressurected you with loopholes in bureaucracy
More went 'I wrote the rules so I bloody well get to break them.'
how do i get the australian gale?
At first he's like: A cruel fate, to be made serving mortals But here after spending some time in their company: No, this is not a worthy ending. There's still much to achieve
Urge : *Dies* Withers : "No."
This scene alone is better than the entire DA Veilguard game.
I've played this game so much and yet I still get amazed by how cinematic the cutscenes are. sometimes I forget i'm playing a game
Withers is Jergal
FUCKING MASTERPIECE , through and through ,from beginning to end !!!!!
Seeing this maies me somewhat sad that the undead/undying patron doesn’t exist for warlocks. It would have made so much sense! The Dread Overlord mod is a pretty good substitute though.
does this mean Withers is now our god?
this speech left me in tears, for real. this game is so impressive
Is Withers Jon Irenicus?
I like to think Withers knows of the Bhaalspawn that came before us. For the pervious hero of Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 was our older sibling who defied Bhaal too. But Bhaal thought it was because they were born of a woman and raised among mortals that caused that worthy one to no longer be worthy. It's why we are born of Bhaal alone. And although Bhaal's influence was stronger, like our older sibling, we had, like them, told Bhaal to screw off. Withers knows that a Bhaalspawn like that is something that needs to be kept around.
Given who Withers is, hes known of them very much so.
The expressions Withers makes in this scene are amazing. He looks so proud that you've overcome the curse of your bloodline.
Thanks, Bone Daddy
I like to think Ao made Withers go and be like “Do something about the Dead Three, they’re disobeying the rules”
I like to think that while Jergal's avatar is there to fix the problem he made, Ao also sent him down as a lesson. Kinda like... "I understand you've been around writing people's fates for so long it's become incredibly boring, and you've disconnected with your portfolio over this bordom. How about this time you go join the adventure for a change? It'll be good for you."
Is that Geralt's voice??
Yes!
It would have been 1000% if Withers mentioned Wall of the faithless
I've just reached this scene and my goodness it's my second playthrough and I played resist urge, it is without a doubt the most badass and satisfying role play experience I've ever had in my life fighting Orin was something I've been looking forward to and my god it was executed perfectly, I'm literally crying right now because all the companions are proud of me, it's much more engaging and involved in the story to play dark urge Withers is so BADASS My character is a gloomstalker thief fighter so he was like a mirror to Orin too and I killed her in one turn just iwjaoahsushwb I love this game so much
Withers is Jergal
You can learn that Withers contains an aspect of the Devine quite early in the game, right after he shows up in camp if you roll well enough, but he’s very cagey about it and doesn’t want to say outright Here he basically just steps in and asserts his full status as avatar of Jergal without really doing much covering up lol
I think it goes beyond him flexing his true powers. He fully admits that what he did was not in his usual repertoire. Indeed, this should've counted as meddling in mortal affairs. That means either Withers/Jergal petitioned the Overgod Ao to let this happen, or he decided to roll the dice on the Dark Urge. Both possibilities add to the badass factor here.
This part was so amazing, but I didn't see it before in my playtrough. :( Wondering how many cutscenes I didn't see of this game!
Play as a dragonborn Dark Urge but not THE white dragonborn Durge? Heresy
I LOVED this scene. I did a good Dark Urge Honor Mode run and I made sure to do tons of research to make sure I wouldn't lose my run dying to Bhaal 🔥 This scene gave me CHILLS
*Bhaal kills you* Withers: “And I took that personally.”
This was beautiful
Bhaal: Die, yes? Withers: ....yeah, no.
Jergal is one hella chill of a God. And a troll too. At the end of everything, he is still the boss.
seeing this after watching any dragonage veilguard cutscene is like a wagyu steak after you've ate rotten 2 week old fast food burgers all your life, you re-discovered what is food, and you cleanse your pallet after the most dreadful "rpg" there is.
