Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again (Bass Cover)
Rleased as the second single from Depeche Mode's sixth studio album in 1987, 'Never Let Me Down Again' quickly became one of the more well-known tunes from the band over the years.
I had to learn this tune for a cover band gig that I was subbing for a friend, and found it a rather welcome challenge to emulate the synth bass on the studio recording, but with my bass and whatever analog effects I had.
After some experimentation, I found that I was able to get a reather close sound with a combination of fuzz, gated fuzz, and phaser. Since I usually record these covers through a Boss GT-1B as my interface, I've recreated my live sound with a Big Muff and phaser patch.

what effects did you use
The effects used are mentioned in the video description. - Mainly a stereo chorus patch and a pitch shifter set to 1 octave below, and blended at 35%.
