There is an SGA season every year...somethimes a couple. Jokic is on a "not since Wilt" season. Its literally just that simple. If these stats hold and Denver finishes in the top 4. Jokics defense is due to lack of athleticism. He's still 4th in steals, 3rd in rebounds odd stat kicked balls. These are elite defensive contributions. If Jokic gets in foul trouble on a silly block attempt his team suffers more than any other team in the association. He doesn't have that athleticism or the luxury. OKC without SGA id a better squad than Denver without Jokic.

Jokic playing best season ever seen in NBA...good luck with Shai. You say defense is weak with Jokic but you did not show defensive numbers, rebound, steals, Jokic i average in defense, and unstoppable on offense, no matter what defender you put him with. Even if he doesn't play defense at all, if he sits on the bench, his contribution on offense is such that Denver is ahead again. It's not just the "numbers", but the overall efficiency and 49% shooting 3 points :)

SGA could win mvp, unless the nuggets will finish a close second or third in the western conference..but winning this year's mvp doesn't mean shia is the best player in the league or a better player than jokic...shia's stats, especially in efficiency, rebounds, assists, playmaking, bball iq are not even close to that of jokic's...and i don't believe that there is a gm in the league who would trade jokic for shia straight up, or even for giannis, luka, or tatum for that matter...

Needs to translate into wins. They are in the race for the playoffs, easily the play in. What are you talking about? second year and nearly 50-50 wins ratio. You did your homework on what. They are 2 games away from the 5th seed and nearly most of the losses have been by less then 5 points or less. This team has not simply come a long way, they are as good as Golden state or the Lakers. They don't have the maturity to end games yet, but that comes down to experience. Giannis also didn't pick Jokic and also has a disastrous head-to-head record with Jokic. I think Jokic has the most triple-doubles against Milwaukee. Jokic doesn't seem like someone who is bothered by such things, but I think he says everything he has to say on the court. They respect him now. Jokic almost beat the USA national team and biased referees without a single NBA starter on the team. Most of the players of the Serbian national team are not the main players in European clubs. It was also seen how bad Murray is without Jokic in the Canadian national team when he could not dominate against players who have never played in the NBA. jokic has won a couple mvps to this point based on context cause denvers ownership/front office has never gone big game hunting. has always been cheaper than the leagues top teams, and they refuse to sign or even go after top free agents. jamal murray has gone way downhill lately and even with that being said jokic has never played with an all star, all nba, or all defensive team player in his entire career. murrays most regular season ppg in his career was 21 and he's injured a ton. go look at all the other all time greats and look at the amount of all stars/all nba/ all defensive team players theyve played with. the year jokic won it as the 6th seed the records were also extremely clumped together throughout the western conference, murray and mpj were out for the season and he carried a starting five with his second and third best players being monte morris and will barton into the playoffs. he deserved that mvp no doubt.

Like you can put up great numbers, but if it's just because you've got a team of amazing role players that you ride on top of, then that's a little less for me compared to someone who carries the whole damn team and all his teammates have to do is make completely wide open shots and play at least 50% defense. When Tatum or Shae step off the floor, Chet, Jaylen, and others can step up and keep the team going. When Jokic steps off, the Nuggets sink. That +- for Jokic is something insane like 40+

@@UnoDinero95001 @UnoDinero95001 I never said that Jokic didn't do anything historic. I was explaining why Russ won and that it was more of an anomoly for someone to win being a sixth seeded team. I hear you on everything you're saying that had to do with that specific season and I'm not mad that he won it that year, just not my choice based on how I measure MVP. P. S., you gotta stop telling me that I didnt watch the games because I do not agree with your stance. You make valid points on why he was MVP that season and clearly the voters agreed. - RJ

No. His jersey should never hang from the rafters for any team. You're not supposed to celebrate mediocrity. The last time Vince wore a Raps jersey, he told the opposing team the play we were running and made us lose the game. You don't hang that legacy from the rafters. Nothing worth remembering.

Yes For a 30 year celebration. It was common sense to pick Vince. People debate between Lowry etc. But I grew up watching Vince and supported him throughout his career because I never heard the other side of the story. We've all been in situations where the place you are in drives you crazy and then you react unacceptably. I don't know the whole story so I never had any animosity towards Vince. Nba teams have betrayed nba players all the time but fans never want to boo the team/organization. End of the day. Yes Vince deserved.

Lebron is not the CEO of the Lakers he is just an employee, that is different. The Lakers from a business standpoint should set themselves up for the future considering that Lebron probably has two or three years left. So when he leaves the Lakers will be down 2 spots, thats not good business. The biggest thing that bothers me is thinking about the kid who should have been drafted that wasn’t and what that could have done for that kid and his family. Bronny comes from a billion dollar family, he will be fine no matter what he does. That spot could have changed someone’s life and their families.
