Hi! I had a question,can varnish be put on acrylic paper as well,or just canvases? It’s because I use acrylic paper only.

Neons are not permanent. Acrylic is glue. Pigment is better than dye.

Had to clic as acrylic is always to bright and too vibrant! Plastic wonder ugg...

I don’t use acrylic paint much, but next time I do, I’ve got some great tips! Thank you!

Neon or fluorescent paints are not lightfast (it fades) rapidly, so keep that in mind and defeats your purpose of avoiding dullness.

Hmmm. You talk about good quality paints that won't break the bank and then go onto mention Liquitex and Golden, 2 of the most expensive on the market, at least here in Australia. Amsterdam or (Talens) make a great acrylic that's awesome and 1/2 the price. I guess it depends on the art you're making... I'm a mixed media artist making art for my own enjoyment so for me, inexpensive is the way to go.

I tried your suggestion and wow. It worked! I was wondering why isn't my colours more vibrant, popping and your video did it for. It was like a huge relief. Today I finished a painting, same one i did before and I put them side by side, and one I did from what I learned from your video just did for me. I felt a lot of stress leave me and that this problem which has been doing me in for a while now has been solved. So thanks for your sharing your tips. It worked!

This was fabulous ! I have wanted to know the steps in how to achieve a realistic white fur, so this was great ! My sweet Bichon very sadly passed away this year and I have wanted to learn how to paint fur more realistically on completed clay and 3D printed Bichon’s, however the fur has a bit of a wave or slight curl to it. Do you have any technique suggestions for that ? Thank you so much, I am really enjoying your video’s as you are easy to listen to and you are covering some unique and important areas of painting, bringing about a more realistic touch. Julie

I love the tips & tricks, some I would have never thought of ! If I may suggest, would you consider doing a video on painting the human eye ? I’m getting into these doll/human face Molds, where the eyes are left completely blank, not even a faint outline of the 3 parts of the eye, imprinted within the eye area that would help dramatically towards obtaining a realistic eye. It’s things like the 3 colour parts of the eye that would be most helpful, typical paint mixing for realistic eye colours and delicate line striation detail of the iris (?), how to paint eyes looking in different directions and possibly realistic eye lashes ?
