@@Zeromus5555 Yep, the game is in an odd spot right now with less than half the cards being updated. Adepticon is going to be HUGE, but it seems really far away at the moment.

@travisskane5459 Holy crap! MARCH??? Ya that's sad. Should have sprinkle fed this stuff to keep people from quitting. I know a lot of people frustrated with the underpowered rebel updates and overpowered Clone updates. It felt like Rebels were at a disadvantage the whole match playing that list vs his.

You should buy a 3D printer, spend countless hours designing the system, pay for things like cameras, websites, advertisement, electric bill, etc. and then spend 20+ hours per stack printing it before you tell me what it’s worth. You don’t have to buy it. Thanks for the sub 😉

@@travisskane5459 AMG needs scheduled updates or at least to be more vocal about it.

While I generally agree, I do think we’re still waaaaaay early to say something is or isn’t broken. The ENTIRE game changed and most of the units changed as well. Seems that clones have historically been one of the most used armies. While there are a couple lists that are super good (maybe even too good), it may also just be the first one we’ve “figured out” as a community.

@@jerrysgameshop I hope my tone wasn't too "doom and gloom", because I agree with what you said about everyone figuring out what this game is now. I look forward to seeing what the small development team at AMG has in store for the rest of the planned changes.

2.6 is MUCH better than classic. It's just different and takes getting used to and there's some growing pains to flesh out, but it's superior for growth and ease of play.

@@jerrysgameshopI feel like the game has become more basic and simple regarding strategy. All the missions feel roughly the same, and it encourages charge in and shoot. I missed the high tier strategy in picking missions that felt different and more versatile. Besides, I can’t use product I have bought (battlefield expansions) as intended. The new game feels cheaper in terms of design and logic. I liked static cover saves, as it led to more predicable calculations. These are all aspects I enjoyed, and I feel like new legion lacks flavor (albeit I’m sure it is fun to others). I think it lessens the competitive edge to strategy, which is an element I really enjoyed prior. The best part is I can still play the old stuff, it just means I probably won’t be playing competitively under 2.6. Also, I am 4-2 record-wise in 2.6, so it’s not like I am just salty 😂

​@@jerrysgameshop I'm a sep player and Magna help, but I've never been a fan of something being broken and lists having to warp around that list to be successful. Look at Dark Trooper meta over a year ago for an example.

I agree that arcs are completely broken, sharing tokens and amount of dice is just crazy, Anakin and arcs has been pretty much the top list of almost all the tournaments that has happened since the 2.6 release. Way too cheap and good

@firefox396 ya, Crucible this weekend 5 of the top 8 is basically the same list. Anakin, 4 arcs, then a mix of Rex 1-2 commandos. There's clearly a problem. I kind of wonder if Charge on them was a mistake too. Hopefully AMG nips it in the bud or the format is going to suffer...

@@Zeromus5555 truth be told I think a lot of it has to do with the new mission ruleset, it very much just encourages getting up in the middle of the board and melee fighting. I think arcs are just the most efficient form of that for the points, not to mention how good Anakin is now

It’s definitely very tough to beat! I think Dooku/Magnas is a really good counter. I’ve had a lot of success against Anakin 501st with them.

​@@jerrysgameshop Dooku is fantastic now. Arcs hit harder than Magna which is weird to me, but they're good vs Anakin.

Yeah it was definitely one of the things that I think made a big difference in the game. I think he was trying to shut down the passing out of aims from Unorthodox tac.

We had 27 players. Our largest local to date! We probably average 15-20 normally. There's been a general uptick in excitement in our community.
