The Life and Music of George Michael Review
You'll love this show if you love George Michael and his music! In this review, I'll share my experience of seeing this show, plus clips from the concert. 🎸🎵
The artists did a great job recreating the life and music of George Michael and sharing his greatest hits. All the musicians were extremely talented and did a great job covering such an iconic singer. My husband and I sang and danced our hearts out.
A little about me: I'm a professional pianist & composer who loves to travel. Want to hear me play my arrangement of Jamiroquai's Virtual Insanity? Check it out here:

Great to learn about Mr. Henderson.
Thanks for watching!
Mr Henderson, My name is Wayne P Henderson and have followed you on the internet and anything I found written about you. I also have been contacted, years ago, by people looking for you. I would like to meet you this coming year, 2025 if possible.
Absolutely love this! ❤ I’m an Abingdon native, my whole life and this town is amazing! Thank you so much for this video. I’m sharing it with friends. ❤
So glad you liked the video. Abingdon is such a wonderful town. Did I miss any of the great things to do in Abingdon?
I would love to see it❤🎉
@nilougomez5511 its touring the country. Hope you get a chance to see it!
I’d like this show
@@strawberryme08 it was awesome!
What a lovely man ❤
@@7884golfguru He really is!
I would've asked him a thousand questions on each component.
After we left, I thought of several more questions I wished I would have asked.
EVERY THING WAS GOOD BUT HILARY CLINTON
💖
Awesome share, hello from Newport News Va, on the coast
@@DaveCollierCamping Thank you!
Why the buffering
@@mark16277??
How would I go about getting getting a G bender Electric acoustic ? T You..🎶🎵
he has not made one for ZZTOP , ACDA
Ha ha. He only makes acoustic guitars.
Thanks for the video, are you still happy with the bike?
Yes. I just took it out riding yesterday. It has held up well. I have 3 different brands of ebikes and I like them all for different reasons. This one I like for the torque assist and the suspension and all the accessories that came with it for a great price. I took it on a dirt trail that was a little bumpy and it did well.
Gillian WELCH.
he's a roid sox fan....can't be any good
Hotel recommendation please?
got it
@SunShinepkg I talk about that at the end of the video and I have links in my description. But i highly recommend the Martha Washington Inn.
Great video on AbingDon!
@@hammerjammer1 Thank you!!!
I feel like there should be a 15 year old kid just following him around learning. We need to preserve his catalog of skills and knowledge. When he looks up at the camera his eyes tell a story of a man with a pure heart. You just want to sit with him and listen to all his stories.
He has taught his daughter and she is a very successful guitar maker in Asheville. He talks about her a bit in the video. Thanks for listening!
@@thetrippylife3948 i left the comment like 2 minutes into the video. I thought about editing it. Then I learned he teaches classes at his school as well. Thank you for this video.
@@kevindavis8607 I didn't know he taught classes. Good to know. Thanks!
Hey Wayne do you know the difference between a GITAR AND A GUITAR? 200 miles below the Mason /Dixon Line! 😂😂😂😂😂
He a Red Sox fan so he’s should be good
What do his guitars sell for?
They can sell on ebay for over $50,000 but i think he sells them for much less.
Hi Wayme, thank you for making guitars! 🌞👍
A real down to earth, laid back, friendly fellow. The world needs more like him.
Nice.
Very nice story. How does a person become a master builder? - a rare thing. Sounds like he's earned it. Being a washed up old picker myself, really appreciated the sound of #400. Best wishes to him to reach 1000. Thank you for sharing.
Wayne is wearing a Boston Red Sox baseball cap. I was wondering if he is an actual MLB fan and, if so, a Red Sox fan? Since he lives in Virginia, perhaps he is a Nationals or an Orioles fan? Thanks so much for a first cabin interview.
I wish I would have asked him if he's a Red Sox fan. I left thinking of so many questions I wish I would have asked..
My group was blessed with the opportunity to sing a couple songs at a local concert. Wayne is salt of the Earth kind of person. He handed me #500 like we had been friends for 50 years. Hes got the best stories as well.
Thanks for sharing!
Some years ago I handed Wayne my beat up '69 Brazilian D-45 to pick on. He says. ".. that thayrs some fine lookin wood. I could build you a a right nice guitar out of it..." Truth be told, I probably should have let him cart it home.
My dad worked at Chris Craft and they used mahogany in the cabins of their boats!
Got to visit him over 50 years ago and he was a hospitable and gracious host to a kid .
Great master artist.
My dad played a gibson made in 50s. I still have it.
Nice!
A national treasure
Yep!
Wow. Thank you for sharing this story with us. God bless you Wayne
Thank you for watching!
Why the Captions, I understand every word he says.
I held one he made that he borrowed for a show of the best of all styles of playing at the University of washington. Bought his CD . Finest player of bluegrass, fast too.
Nice!
"and said that.." 😃
People complain about how much money a hand made guitar costs............all the while those twats want 20 bucks an hour to fill bags of trash panda food ............I hope you go well beyond 1000 fiddles Wayne.
What a Legend ! God Blass You
he is a hillbilly and I grew up in east TN, so I heard the early REAL country and bluegrass on B/W TV ...
What a talented sweet down to earth fella..great vid thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
In the future please try not to talk so much when the subject is talking or at least stay away from the microphone. Also don't use auto generated subtitles when they clearly misrepresent what the subject is saying.
It's like sitting over there in the room in a chair with them listenin' having a normal conversation' her conducting an interview'asking questions and him answering.... gives an in room feeling. As far as the subtitles.... they're not flashing all over the screen or blocking out faces or the background like serval do. 10 outta 10..
@BryanClark-gk6ie i really appreciate your comment. First interview I've ever done, didn't know until right before i would be doing it, happened to have some small cheap mics on me, and was a bit intimidated to talk to him. Honestly overwhelmed by all the kind feedback. And meeting Wayne was one of the highlights of my life. He did have PBS there the week before. Will be a much more professional interview than mine for sure.
Cool. 😃
Thank you
What an unbelievably talented man, so unassuming and down to earth, his guitar sounds amazing, brilliant.
I am a guitar player and Boston Red Sox fan and I'm thinking Mr. Henderson maybe a Salem Red Sox fan?
Very cool interview with a true craftsman who learned the old fashioned way, through years of experience and continuous learning and improvement. Great attitude and desire to do great work is always going to produce a skilled professional. And local walnut is a great tonewood, as well and nice maple.
Can't believe i spent a whole 33 mins listening to his story. Thanks for posting ❤ ✌️
Thanks for spending 33 minutes listening! :)
Admired Wayne’s work for years. The Cody sisters here in Colorado, have “ sister guitars. Same tree I heard. The can really play! Thanks Mr Henderson!
I have had the pleasure of talking a bit with Wayne quite a few times, and we always had fun. I am also a Luthier here in Virginia, about an hour or so from Wayne's place, but have not talked to him in years. I really need to visit him soon. He is a national treasure, and as friendly and humble as one person can be. My guitars will never be as good as a Henderson, but I will keep trying to reach anywhere close to his level of the art.
Thanks so much for your comment. So many admire him as a luthier and a great human.
Great story, what a great guy, I'd love to visit this place if I go to the USA again.
That thing sounds amazing!
