After spotting 4 coyotes laying in the field when driving by I managed to make a stand roughly 1km away from them and 3 of them responded to the call..in the end had to chase 1 down with the shotgun since didn't make clean shot on him.
a group is a group even if you dont count the first 20 shots. i can tell yall dont shoot often. if he didnt adjust all the bullets would have done is hit the left side of the target lmao. has nothing to do with favorites.
@@Synzz_Teslex well said!

Next, he's going to compare a Porsche to a chevy cruze.
Looks as though you’ve found a great cartridge recipe for the 7PRC. My 7PRC is sub MOA with all shelf ammo I’ve put through it. I had GA Precision put a Bartlein 5R carbon wrapped in 22” with 1:8 twist. I’ve just begun testing with hand loaded Berger’s and some H4831SC. I’m hoping to speed it up a bit closer to 2990-3010 from 2840.
Absolutely, this load works really well in this barrel and what a great cartridge 7prc is! I like it so much I'm having another rifle built in it as we speak. Good luck on your load testing.
Felonie
Try using the same optics and shoot again plus in all with out a lead sled on point you're body is moving
The 6.5 Creedmore was designed with bullets for longer range shooting. Recently attention has been given to .308 bullets to increase their BC. The Berger Juggernaut BC is .55. The Lapua 155 gr Scenar is a more efficient .308 bullet. Comparing the two calibers should be done with modern high BC bullets. The 6.5 undoubtably holds the edge but with modern high BC bullets, the .308 can work at 1000 yds negating the need for a new rifle. 1000 yds is also not a hunting distance, just a target distance.
The average person is not going to be shooting 1000 yards I find these videos a waste of time.
If the guns arent the same make and model with the same barrel lenths it means NOTHING
How do you know what's in trees and brush, I hope nothing.
How is the shrapnel making other marks on the plate? because it hits the plate then has to bounce backwards, how does it have any forward momentum? or is it because the plate moves?
After watching further it appears that it's just the shockwave blasting paint off, I would use primer, but thats a different discussion.
Epic
You can see with the 7prc that as the barrel warms up the velocity is increasing. That's why he got the vertical stringing.
Go ahead and try to back that up with facts.
@@tylerschneible584 Barrel Heat-Thin-contour “sporter” barrels WILL change point of impact as they heat up. When testing loads for your hunting rifle, take your time and don’t let the barrel get hot on you
@@tylerschneible584 straight from bench rest hall of fame shooter speedy Gonzales.
@@josephmandragoran4262 POI change doesn’t mean velocity is speeding up. That’s nonsense.
Hot chambers lead to hot cartridges, which lead to warmer powder, which leads to higher mv, leading to vertical stringing - not nonsense.
Hornygay isn’t my brand preference
ooohhhh shit that man is dangerous..i do feel like the 308 can do better with some more load development but damn that 6.5 is deadly.
I’d be happy with both or either one
What is the length of the barrel?
@jefersonseefeld9803 both are 24'
Why is nobody calling this dude out on his distance? 1020 yards? Bullshit. You’re a fool to think this is 1020 yards. Go to 5:45 and just use your eyeballs people. Then go to Texas Plinkers 1 MOA challenge and you will actually see what 1000 yards looks like. If you can hit a 5 inch 6 shot group at 1000 yards we would all know who you are trust me. I will give him props for fooling all of you commenters.
500 yards at best.
This guy is the greatest shooter ever. And 7prc is the best cartridge ever
1 click to the right and 1 downwards and 7prc would ve been dead bull's eye at 1080 yd.
Wow. 7mm prc is so darn perfect
Amazing video
I have the vortex SE on an rpr 6.5 with a proof barrel, the scope is super viable at 1k. Really like ebr7c reticle. I'm starting a christchensen 300prc build. Do you have any feedback good or bad regarding that action.
Their actions are decent, they have some slack but overall not bad id say. CA barrels are totally different story, the one that came with my MPR fell apart after only 250rds!
The deers spider sense kicked in and it was like nope not today
Don’t listen to those clowns below It’s not apples to apples Oh no Boo Whooo No shit Fuckking dorks 🖕🤣🤣🤣 Good vid dude 1k whooo banging steel 💥💥💥 🤘😎🤘

I picked up a 7 PRC a couple months ago. I’ve only shot it a few times but it’s a sweet cartridge. I’m wondering if I should have gone with the 300 PRC but I’m not sure. I also have a 338 Lapua that I shoot long distance.
If you did end up getting the 300 prc. I have a 7 prc and want the 300 and 338lm which one of those two would you recommend for carnage
That 6.5 grouping was gnarly.
Just a suggestion; see if you can adjust your triggers to eliminate the overtravel. It matters, especially at long ranges.
I never thought of that, how does trigger travel has an effect on long range shooting?
No question, the Creedmoor round is better at long ranges. As for the .308, the bullet isn't all that different from the 30-o6 I competed with back in 1963, and we used 165gr boattail bullets. Oh, and iron sights! Custom machined to a smaller aperture, but still iron sights. Rifles, match grade M1 Garand for the first few matches, then match grade M14s, the first time to my knowledge that the rifle was used in competition. We used Fr Riley KS ranges, and after a full day of shooting my right cheek was swollen and my shoulder was seriously bruised!
For me if it’s a choice of 6 mm up to 308 cal out to 600 yards I pick the 6.5 x 55 in 140 or 150 gr factory load , sweet shooting round , very similar ballistics to the creedmoor out to 600 yards
308 carries more energy past 6 or 800 yards unfortunately.
The 6.5 is the winner.......
Very nice...about to build out a 7mm PRC bench/hunting rig myself...trying to decide what action but loving Bartlein for barrels.
Impact Precision actions = 👌🏻
What happened to that first shot with the 6.5 CM far on the right edge ??? 6:28 ? compare to 8:35 ? but you can shoot ... nice work
Nice. I have a DD5V5 in 6.5. Im surprised the 308 did so well. The differences between the two are not THAT drastic. 308 has a few hundred more ft-lbs of energy and the 6.5 has a few inches tighter groups. Boths very comparable in close and far range performance. Im staying on team 6.5.
Hi, you are getting velocity of 2950 fp/s with 28" barrel, 184 grains bullet and 66.5 grains of H1000 powder. Can you please tell me: 1) what is the pressure in psi that you are getting? 2)do you think that in 7mm PRC with 26" barrel, Berger 180 grains, 67.5 grains of H1000 powder I would get velocity of 3000 fp/s and would the pressure be to high and what would be the amount? Best regards!
Yep that's my load there, not sure about the exact pressure numbers but looking at some data with similar powder charges it would be around 66k psi. You should be very close to 3k ft/s with 67.5gr.
You should reach out to Texas Plinker with that second grouping! His 1 MOA at 1000 would be attainable with that grouping!
Quite possibly but im in Canada so too far away 👍
Which version of the T3x is that?
Tikka t3x tac a1
308 is better because 6.5 Cried more.
I just won my first 7 prc at a sportsman expo here in Utah. Can’t wait to buy a scope for it, any suggestions for scopes
What are you wanting to spend? The Leopold MK5 HD and Nightforce NX8 line of scopes are great!
the best you can afford
I chooser tikka t3x tac 6.5 creedmoor the best precission
Now try the creedmore with 168 grain kind of a joke in comparison 130 g to a 168g
Useless comparison. 2 different bullet designs, totally 52 gr difference in weight, 2 different velocities, 2 different rifles. Kudos to you for good shooting, that's about the best I can say about wasting my time on this video.
The weight and velocity differences are understandable. They are different calibers and cases. But the bullet difference is what throws off the results. If he had used a 180 ELDM and a 225 ELDM, we’d be looking at a more apples to apples comparison
Can’t please everyone.😂 someone is always going to cry. Just ask your mom 😂😂😂
I didn't realize this was a comparison video? According to the tile he is just shooting to different rounds. 😅😅😅
Nobody told you to watch the video. No need to be a Jack ass.
Tell us where the bad man touched you.
You can see the bullet travel and the ripples of air in the bigger screen .. looks awesome
The 250 gn a tips is more consistent at longer ranges than the 230 a tips in vertical spreadding
You should try a 300 WSM with the 230 Atip. I ran H1000 with a full case with an SD-3fps and 2748fps….routinely shot (in no wind) 10 inch groups or better at 1000. Most of the time we just shot clay pigeons with it at that distance.
Its shooting 2 rifles with 2 differing caliber cartridges at the same target. ok.
I have four 7PRCs - love them. I considered a 300PRC but chose to get a modified reamer made by JGS in 300WSM. I followed the Alex Wheeler concept and how he improved the PRCs with a larger body by 0.002 and a bit more freebore. My 300WSMs will need long actions but that's what I wanted. the 300WSM is well known for its accuracy. I've got 180, 190, 210 grain bullets with the heavier bullets being Berger VLDs.
Ive seen his interview on Cortinas channel he has some good knowledge.
@@Syxtus_outdoors Yes, he's done a great job of improving chambers - something SAAMI should look at and standardize the AW modification.
My 300 wsm is a laser 168gr tsx averaging 3090 fps
@@onerahtokonmc7703 In my tikka 300WSM I've got loads for 150 TSX over Superformance, 168 TTSX with Staball 6.5, and 180 Accubonds but can't remember what powder. I'd have to check
Man berger bullets are just good. They seem to be quite a bit more accurate than the hornady or smks etc. Are you able to load up any bergers in the 300 prc and shoot a group?
Ill be switching to bergers very soon so ill give it a shot.
@@Syxtus_outdoors looking forward to it!

I’ve got a model 10. With your .308 what setup are you using, scope (moa or mead), 20moa picatinny rail, and what are you dialing in elevation to reach out at that distance (are you dialing and using holdovers as well)?
I always dial up on turrets, 308 had 32 moa of drop and 6.5cm 27 moa, both rifles have Vortex pst gen 2 5-25 in moa
That’s the scope I bought a bit ago viper pst gen 2 5-25x 50 ebr7c in moa. So far just got it zeroed out to 200 have yet to reach out any farther. Thanks for the reply!
