@michaelswanson7881 0 seconds ago I got 1.1gm in 3 hours in Oakey creek in Advancetown, turned out it is not public access, but it's green on google maps. I have since moved to Toowoomba, so I go out to Durikai now. But anyway, at the top of the ridge on Beachmont Rd about 50 metres down from Bottletree lane, there is a 8 foot wide quartz vein, which seems to be part of a large mineralised quartz structure all through that area, Curumbin creek also has gold in the black sand deposits, a by-product of the sand mining was gold and was reportedly used to pay the workers, after it was sold of course.
you need to go and get a few lessons on Filming man .

@@southeastqldgoldhunter No problems. Just trying to make it more engaging and you succeed more... like 'today we are at Long Drop Reef, on the Sunny Gold Coast... well, it was sunny until last week. Over there you have - whooowww, whooowww, Arjay's hooked a big one! Look at it jump, that's a monster!' sort of thing...

Your Nox is good at SFA in mineralised ground mate. Maybe strap the coil to the end of your dick for better results ?

It really does help to clear the area first, I found more in one spot then having to walk around for ages by simply being neat and respectful of the ground and if there is any rubbish left behind by others I take it to the proper bins afterwards in town.😁great work. Thanks for the upload 👍

Looks like ore from a pair of mines I know pretty well. If so chase the dark blue/grey seam in the quartz 😉 4.5grams is the best I’ve got from there.
That crusher did a good job, awesome build 👍
Looks great! On my crusher, I had to flip the D-shackles over and thread them from the back to keep them from unscrewing themselves, if that helps. Looking forward to seeing some more rock-crushing videos, if you make them!
what detector are you using?
Crushing rocks is a hard way to find a little gold
Mmm ok so when they mined quartz reefs they didn't crush rocks to get the gold?
It's more about sampling

:( as much as I love watching videos like this. I also hate it because I can never find anything like this and it makes me jealous 😅 I think my weekend PB is 0.7g on the pan with the biggest being 0.46g picker in the area with the nug from your intro. I need to get out more lol.

Totally agree on the GPX 4000-5000 units. With a good Coil And they are equal to all the others. Yeehaaw. We have 2'x 5000s. Never part with them.
