Something I’ve been telling myself to keep going is “I can share it now and make it pretty later!” It’s really helped me to not worry too much about how my site and launch currently is and the deadlines I’ve put in myself 💚 I’m excited for those mood stickers, love them!!

I used to be really frugal with my stickers and not want to use them bc they looked nice or because they came in an album and I can't buy them separate, but now I've gotten really good at using them for whatever I feel like and not waiting for the perfect thing haha. I'm so glad you talked about Fanart because many small owners don't mention that IP infringement can land you in a lot of trouble like being sued. I'm on Etsy and many shops get shut down or sued for this reason because owners are steal confused.

Cricut is a bit of a jerk for almost everybody!

The best part about doing your own thing is that you can do crossovers with your original IP and public domain works/folklore for alternative styles and approaches, too.

Love the video. There were so many helpful tips. I am a faceless artist with an online shop. I agree with most of what you said but making your happiness dependend on your community can be difficult sometimes. I have the luck of having people in my private life rooting for me and helping me pick up again when I am down. Therefor I can stay a faceless artist. My community is also really sweet and always happy coming back after small breaks. Just saying for the people being shy and wanting to stay faceless. You can. It is absolutly possible. Some famous internet figures grew crazy big communities without showing their face. Things just work differently for other people.

I completely agree about fanart. As much as I love creating them, I would much rather grow and become known for art of my own world and style. I have to say I’ve been craving/searching for artists that have just recently started their RUclips journey as I would love to start mine too. I absolutely love your art! In one of your previous videos, you turned the keychain into earrings and I LOVED THEM. I hope that when your characters are more developed, you'll consider dabbling in jewelery.

Cricut is a hobby machine, I have come across several people who have become increasingly frustrated with theirs once they even attempted to lightly use it at a professional level for their small businesses. I'd look into professional level desktop machines just for research purposes like the Brother Scan and Cut, but stickers are definitely one of the cheapest/easiest outsourcing items. Yass, make earrings and other jewelry! 💜
