Im absolutely amazed how this one movie feels nothing like a rehular One Piece adventure in the best way possible. For oncr, Luffy isnt the one to save the day and is instead him who the islanders save from the main villain. How the story begins with the usual OP shenanigans, but slowly everyones bonds begin to break as they vanish lne by one. Omatsuri was practically overpowrring luffy to the point of completely breaking his spirit

Luffy actually killed the baron which I am surprised by and yet happy about it. Luffy doesn’t kill, but in this movie he did that punch was able to kill the baron.

Recap: The whole crew cruisin' around the grand line and they come across a mysterious island with this dude named Baron Omelette. They set foot on the island and get welcomed by people who are not people, just plants meant to look like people. They relax in this resort looking island and the baron introduces this goofy ah plant named lily carnation or something. Luffy, being the dumb one, realizes that he is loosing his crew one-by-one so he went to search for them. Luffy runs into Omelette and gets shot by a fricking arrow in the palm, not bleeding for some reason. The baron keeps yapping about the "deaths" of Luffy's crew and calls usopp the phallic nose man. The lily turns into a walmart looking ah piranha plant then dies from pirate father guy. Baron shouts at PFG then luffy, who uses all his power, punch Omelette like that fatass celestial dra-goon then Omatsuri yapps about his crew and his crew was the people that were really plants all along. Then Omatsuri died....

The way Baron laughed and danced around as luffy screams and cries struggling to rescue his crew is horrifying. It all started as a nice vacation but his friends were killed and luffy couldn’t do anything about it. All of the citizens were fake… nothing more than “plants” Baron killed everyone on that island and nobody could do ANYTHING. Just a terrifying nightmare.

Guys i have a theory that the father of the family is roger the ace soul trapped in that endless loop then a woman appeared then roger and that woman becomes a family for they are the only one's there then a pirate appeared with a plant and that plant maybe have a devil fruit growing but the pirate accidentally made the fruit go in the soil making the plant absorb the fruit and when luffy appeared Roger and the pirate sense that Luffy is alive not dead so the pirate tries to get luffy soul but roger stoped the pirate by shooting the plant making every illusion becomes back to its original form a stick and a tree and if you look closely the stadium looks like the one that uta used meaning this pirate plants have uta fruit
