Winter's Wrath will always hit the best sounds like a siren going off in a hallway, but due to the freezing cold, it slows the sound and blaring lights and eventually just fades away

Thundercrash was the first super I cast in this game. It felt incredible. Still feels/sounds like the hardest hitting super to me, even if the damage (without Cuirass) can be a bit disappointing.

Gathering storm doesn’t sound as crazy compared to when cast by an enemy, legit sounds like YOU are getting struck by lightning.

fun fact: In destiny 1, the shoulder charge has a beefier and more intimidating impact sound than fist of havoc.

Hi Hoody, I didn't see a way to message you directly, but my name is Jesse Rope, I'm a sound designer who used to work at Bungie and I made most of the weapons and player ability sounds from Destiny 1 launch through Stasis. I was impacted by the layoffs going on and I was caught unawares enough that I didn't have good video reference of my work, and I don't play enough Destiny to have access to all the gear I worked on. :D This video in particular would be extremely helpful for me to use as source to cut down and show off a few of the supers I'm most proud of, would you mind if I downloaded your footage and linked to you in the description? Stasis has the best sounds 🥶

I like how in the enemy version of stormtrance you can hear a thunderstorm, but I find it odd how the friendly version doesn't have it

I want them to go back and revamp some of the sounds just to bring them in line with the complexity and impact of the supers added from Beyond Light onwards. The stasis activation sounds are some of the coolest effects I've heard in any game, and I'm glad the new supers feel like they're on that same level. They all have a wind-up where you feel powerful (or terrified if you're on the other team) followed by a payoff for that short wait.

I love the concept of the Hammer of Sol but I hate that you throw it

Nothing beats stasis supers activation sound. You can feel the coldness and sharp ice in it, while having the coolness factor in the persisting bassline. Bungie outdo themselves when they released beyond light.

Hunters are so awesome in my book.

These gotta be some of the best sound design ever dawg... 1. Shadebinder (dubstep) 2. Blade Barrage (the el tigre growl) 3. Nova Warp (the reverse noises when you blink) 4. Glacial Quake (the footsteps)

That's literally the first sentinel shield I've ever seen casted and I've been playing since seraph

Stasis subclass, along with Outbreak prime are some of the best sound design in this game. It is as if the designers had a steady diet of Transformers + Dub - love it. Ohh and P.S I will never forget the first time I heard Ice Breaker :)

My favorite is the Winter's Wrath activation sound! Love hearing it every time I use it.
