    Ca montre bien l'horreur et à la fois l'amour éperdu, qu'éprouvait la productrice pour le dictateur nazi! Certains figurants de ce film ont été choisi dans un camp de concentration par Leni Riefenstahl's accompagné de plusieurs policiers, une femme dans ce camp l'a vu et l'a déclaré après guerre "Rose Winter"! Durant le film, les figurants ont été nourris, logés, blanchis et à la fin du tournage ils furent tous amené(e)s au camp d'auschwitz et plus jamais on ne les revus!!! C'est honteux de voir ça sur RUclips de nos jours! cette vidéo devrait être retirée!

    Quintette pour Harpe de Verre de W.-A. Mozart KV 356 / KV 617 a .pour Hautbois, Alto ,flûte et Violoncelle en Ut Majeur !. Dommage que la fin ne sois pas entièrement enregistrée jusqu'au bout !. Composition le 7 Mai 1791 , soit 7 mois avant la mort de W.-A Mozart !.

    Benjamin Franklin did not invent the Glassharmonica, he improved it, but the instrument was known since XVI century.

    • @MrFpam
      @MrFpam 4 года назад

      They used to play with wet fingers on th rim of glasses and there are some musicians who still do this. But Franklin invented the instrument to make it easier to play this kind of music and to make it more in tune.

    Well she was good film maker .i got a excellent copy of this film.they picked on her an yet others like Carl froelich and wolfgang liebeniner and other were let go.this de nazi fication did not work well.But Miss Stahl had other problems that prevented her form doing other films after the war.One of them were finances and illness

    • @michaelmcgee8543
      @michaelmcgee8543 4 года назад

      @@davidlloren I wrote this before I discovered that before she died surviving gypsies who were in tiefland wanted to know if she knew that those who were extras were going to be exterminated. She was 100 so she knew she was going to die. She confessed that she knew. Nope as a fan of open history you except the fact that people were guilty contributing to a dictatorship in which 6 million people were murdered. Even Hines Ruemans and Marika Rokk third Reich stars were guilty by working in the third Reich cinema, even the one who avoid joining the national socialist, Like Grethe Waifers were guilty too. Only the german who protected their Jewish neighbor's kids or their Jewish neighbors weren't guilty and those who joined the underground were not guilty. But what your dealing with is dead.

    @xingsheng1 But these children were already in detention camps and were therefore forced labour, even if days outside filming were better than days in the camps. You can't squirm out of the fact that LR's morality was extremely dubious and she was a radiantly happy supporter of the Fuehrer. Triumph of the WIll says it all, a blatant hymn to fascism and naked authoritarianism. I am not trying to tarnish her reputation. I am trying to ascertain the facts.

  • @xingsheng1
    @xingsheng1 13 лет назад

    @orglancs Listen to yourself: "...she employed children who LATER died in the camps." That's the base of your accusation? I once tutored a little girl who LATER was abused by her teacher and commited suicide, so I was responsible for her death? Maybe I am too dumb to see your logic. But waste no more saliva, we will worship this great woman no matter what you try to tarnish her reputation.

    • @davidlloren

  • @orglancs
    @orglancs 13 лет назад

    @xingsheng1 It is true. She did employ children who later died in the camps. The evidence is summarised in 'Leni' by Steven Bach, (Little Brown, 2007, pages 294-295.). She eventually admitted this and Bach quotes her admission. Your abuse of bearcub410 does nothing to alter the facts. You owe him/her an apology.

    one survivor was interview in the wonderful terrible life of Lennie Riefenstahl. She stated that she was young an nieve at the time. But it wasn'tjust Riefenstahl or Harlan that passivelly contributed to the murder. The stock market. The traditional prejudice in europe. The large percentage of germans wanting a quick answer. Hitler taking advantage of that. The cowardly passive. This is why t.c.m. wont show these films, unless it has international appeal.I critisize them about this

  • @SatchmoSings
    @SatchmoSings 13 лет назад

    @mikemcgee Yes, the extras were largely gypsies from a concentration camp; needless to say, none of them got paid but the did get something ELSE. After the filming, at least half of them didn't have to go back to the concentration camp; they went to DEATH CAMPS instead. Refenstahl, of course, stated that she didn't know this.

    • @cindykleiman5849
      @cindykleiman5849 2 года назад

      One of the extras, a young boy, said she had told them that if they worked on her film (as though they had any choice), she would make sure they would be safe. Instead, most of them died in Auschwitz.

  • @michaelmcgee8543

    When Miss Riefenstahl completed her film after the war,She was too old for the role by that time, But she was able to hide it I guess.This movie looks more like Spain Heimat style. Too much of a Germanesc feel. It's unlikely turner classic movie's would never play it. After video copy rights ran out. cause of the concentration campers who were used in it . They are politically correct against ever showing any more films of 33 and 45. Not even Ruble or Heimat. Cause of Hitler

    @bearcub410 God granted her longevity of 102 years and a talent people all over the world worshipped. You made this idiotic statement as if you yourself had"witnessed" it. Or did you always believe 100% whatever you read? That speaks volume of your IQ level, which can never even touch base within a half or even a third of hers! I am a huge Chinese fan of Leni, and I can easily say that you are poorly educated and it shows in your lousy English.
