The only issue with a list like this is that hero and garrison are so good that there’s usually no reason to not use them unless it’s a space battle, which you always use sabotage for. The bonuses are a cool idea but unfortunately there’s no real tactics because there are 3 correct decisions, and it only depends on map lol

You should make tier lists on the star wars battlefront 3 for Wii that released recently. It's the most complete version of the cancelled battlefront 3 it's basically a finished game besides it missing some textures and being pretty buggy.

Personally I only use hero bonus for all land battles and in space I only use sabotage but I don't really need them. This is on normal difficulty. I have yet to try both of classic balletfront games on harder difficulty.

Mace in the mid tier is objectively incorrect. Experiment with him a little more, his slam attack precisely placed is a one shot kill in HvV.

I always stand by GSL - Garrison, Sabotage, Leader. Keep one of each around in late-game.

As much as I would otherwise agree with Han Solo being up as high as he is, he doesn’t really work considering the fact that his fusion cutter is bugged and if he switched to it, he’s permanently stuck on the fusion cutter. So, in actuality, you have two Han Solo’s, the one with the gun and the one that has absolutely no way of doing anything but repair ships. I don’t know if they patched this in the newer version of the game, but this is how it is in my older version.

I figured out a great cheese strategy with Yoda on Kashyyk. The water is just deep enough that he'll completely submerge when you go into it, and blaster fire for some reason can't penetrate the water surface. It was hilarious from another person's perspective because they'd be watching droids randomly getting sucked under the water in a flash of green

Also ultimate spider man is an absolute necessity. Imo, if anyone is gonna read *any* comic, it should be The Watchmen. It’s a staple in the comic community. I’d argue that novelists need to read it as well

Okay auto turrets are trash. But... Naboo....Holding 4 can be so crazy on Naboo and if you lose it you lose the game and you lose reinforcements so quickly that going for turrets instead to just give you a slight edge might be worth it on that map and that map alone. Of course sabotage is better to give your tanks an advantage because tanks are usually the determining factor for who wins. But just on this map instead of being trash auto turrets are "you want a challenge"

I played SWB2 from the day it came out till the day my last PS2 died over 15 years later. I'm glad to see someone putting Aylaa secure the place she deserves as the number 1 hero. She was the best, hands down best move set.

Palpatine is an S tier for me. -He has the highest jump compared to other heroes -His dash attack is great for crowd control -His lightning slam with damage increase can 1 hit most infantry -His choke+lightning combo decimates anyone within seconds -He can choke while floating -He's the only hero in the game that can jump or use force abilities mid combo and you don't have to wait for the animation to complete.

You can get easy 40+ killstreaks with Han on the Heros vs Villans assault against elite AI. I don't know how it is against humans though.

Haven't even watched the video. The hero bonus is SS tier. Can literally solo the entirety of every conquest map no matter the hero. They are OP.

Flame Thrower in Battlefront (Classic) and Flame Thrower in Battlefront (2015) both are united in the fact they’re bad abilities used for having fun.

I personally think Yoda is the best at ambushing because he has a decent dash attack but is also so tiny that most players won't see him coming if you do a good ambush. He also got a good dance move combo. But I agree that he's not great because he's just so unorthodox.

I love Galatic Conquest, both EaW and BFII.

I only ever played SP, so I liked the auto turrets a little better. Hero bonus was definitely level dependent, but I also liked the ones that were less energy dependent to get around maps so I didn't really like Yoda and suited Vader as much since they were so slow apart from the sprints. I liked Anakin/pre-suit Vader, Ayala, Maul, etc. among the force users, but my favorite was probably the Fetts since you had an award rifle paired with a jet pack.

I typically use the energy boost bonus whenever I get into a space battle, that way it costs 200 credits and a victory in space grants 300 credits. It's really helpful for doing maneuvers while in a spaceship!

The Emporer and Dooku are the most broken hero characters This is because there is a glitch technique where you can Force Choke someone while simultaneously hitting them with Force Lightning. This allows them to 1v1 any character that doesn't get the jump on them

I’d rank em like this: S- Garrison, A- Enhanced Blasters/Bacta Tank, B- Leader/Sabotage, C- Supplies/Auto-Turrets/Combat Shielding, D- Energy Boost (EASILY). A niche little strategy for space combat that I employ is purchasing the supplies bonus, and going ham with a marine in their capital ship. You’ll have plenty of thermal detonators and rockets to destroy everything inside; you shouldn’t even need to go to a gonk droid for ammo. It’s not crazy or anything, and sabotage is better for space battles, but I like to do it just to spice them up since they can get repetitive Edit: Finished the vid, wow you said the same thing lol

Anakin being S tier has a sore spot for me, his particular animation where he does a backswing as part of his combo is absolutely detrimental when it comes to facing other saber wielding characters and even regular enemies, it allows the opponent to get a chance to counter for a considerable amount of time, not to mention Anakin is only available in one conquest map, vs every other character being available in multiple maps.

In defense of Combat Shielding, there is a way to get some good use out of it, though it might be a bug that was overlooked. If you pick Combat Shielding and then play a Droideka, you can keep getting the shielding back after damage removes it. Just go to a command post and start changing class, then just pick Droideka again - you will now be a full health Droideka with the Combat Shielding back on your health bar. Also, another great time to use the leader bonus is on any map where both sides start with just a single command post. Take your leader and sprint your way to their lone command post and go ham on all of the enemy super clumped up. You then cap their only cp and insta-win.

Oh, hey, look, an 8 month old video. I'm gonna leave a comment and hope it gets seen. BF2 has been a favorite of mine for over a decade, and the major point I think you're missing here is that the bonuses (outside of Supplies and Leader) are not for you. They're for the AI. If you leave the game running without ever spawning in, your team gets crushed. Badly. It's not even close. What these bonuses do is give your AI teammates a fighting chance. Bacta Tanks, Enhanced Blasters, and Autoturrets are extremely powerful upgrades because they either prevent the enemy AI from sniping command posts, or they allow your AI teammates to actually function. Trust me when I say Bacta Tanks severely increases AI survivability on the big maps. Not to mention it ensures you don't have to babysit your squad when you strap 4 of them to you when rushing a tough point. I think the rankings were good overall, except the Autoturrets. That one would be map dependent. Great video, man! Really enjoyed it!

I’m gonna be completely honest, I had never realized there was this much variation in the hero characters. I knew they had different powers and attack moves, but I never picked up on the subtle nuances like movement and attack speed (aside from Vader and Palpatine, ofc), or damage hitboxes. I had always assumed the different movesets were just for show, and that the attack rate, damage, and hitbox was the same for each saber character. Granted, most of my time playing hero assault was when I was a kid in the PS2 era, but it still surprised that I never noticed those details.

Leaders that will let you clean up: Anakin, Obi-Wan, Mace, Luke, Darth Maul- that's about it. Any other leaders are most definitely not worth spending that big chunk of change on- even other Jedi, because each Jedi uses different moves and some of them work really well and some (like Ki-Adi-Mundi) DO NOT. And if you're spending a leader bonus on anyone other than a lightsaber-wielder then..... what are you doing my guy

@5:09 Leader bonus was 1,000 credits on the original 2005 version + the downloaded version on Xbox 360, so unless they've changed it since then, it's still 1,000 credits making it the most expensive bonus of all

I play the saga edition mod. It makes the AI actually more difficult and little less Brian dead. It also has a Unique Galactic conquests that includes maps form star wars battlefront 1. Im nit sure what the mod is like now you if they update it since the last time i played it. I like the mod Mostly because of the ai picked the leader bonus then they will have there own leader on the Battlefield. Its not common for them to pickbit though.

Bacta tanks is 400. More faction dependent than map dependent; if you are CIS bacteria tanks is better than garrison I would argue as every Droideka becomes Spartan 117
