I would love to see a new F-Zero game out of all of these games but I also would enjoy seeing Earth Bound or the Mother series come back along with some other forgotten franchises. I think It's crazy how Nintendo has a F-Zero track on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe yet they never had Captain Flacon as a dlc character in that game. Besides F-Zero Punch Out !! and Kid Icarus would be amazing to see come back. Cool video. ^_^

It makes sense considering the Milk Bar bartender is the doppelgänger of Talon from the Lon Lon Ranch in Ocarina of Time, both bear a passing resemblance to Mario. you‘re definitely not delusional, i‘m hearing it too! i’m thinking that this mainly could be because the same composers work on the music. e.g koji kondo composed for mario and majoras mask. some nintendo composers are also known for adding their own easter eggs in the music (e.g totakas song) so it‘s no big surprise. :D

From what I’ve seen, there are other factors. Notably the stage terrain and blast zones. For those that didn’t know, most “spikes” (a.k.a moves with a launch angle that sends the victim downward) actually slightly raise the bottom blast zone for the launched player, making them down slightly earlier. Though from my experience, it can be a bit inconsistent.
