Washington State and the US has a silence no more policy so companies can no longer hide their harassment and illegal Acts. I was discriminated, harassed and with subjected to a hostile work environment because I blew the whistle and was in a mental health crisis. They failed to reasonably accommodate me by not processing my reasonable combinations or denying it and failing to process my FMLA until after they had created pretext to terminate me. Once they told me they were going to terminate me they gave me a settlement agreement that listed all of their state and federal violations, well a handful because the violations just stacked up for the next year and a half. No your company's policies and procedures. HR is not your friend! Even though this lady might, most are not

Thanks for the video and advice. I keep researching tips and information as I am really anxious and theres so much to learn, lots of deadlines and things to keep on top of. Need to prepare my ET1 form at the same time also let acas ask employer If they can settle, so many things happening at once also lawyers are charging a fortune, they are quoting me prices like £1,700, luckily I have studied employment law myself and have very small amount to live off at the moment. After paying 1 hour cost I don't have much left 😢. Lawyers are so so expensive so I wanna do as much work on it myself.

First of all thanks for posting this, I and 6 of my close colleagues are going through this process now, the information here is incredibly helpful. The problem with redundancy is the emotional fallout that comes with losing your job and trying to be pragmatic around understanding rights and following the consultation process. This is a great help for those who feel a bit lost.

I was interviewed relating to complaint by colleague. Shortly after was told no further action 1 year later new manager interviewed me again as case hadn't been closed correctly. Following this interview received letter saying no further action . 3 months later I discovered I had been sanctioned 2 year pay freeze . Challenging this decision was told the the new manager letter was wrong and decision stood. I did not receive any notification of grievance , when asked whati was accused of , told could not be disclosed did not have a meeting to defend myself
