@@nerototo Thanks, I believe it is viable as well. But i have not play against sword soul myself to know it yet. However, I do hope to build it one day. Since i have not launch the game my self for over 3 weeks now. I only hope i manage to get all the cards needed for this deck >_<

Thanks for your comment, it means a lot to me. I spend a lot of time on my decks because I always want to have the most optimal decklist so I'm glad someone notices my work.

Ahah I can understand, I changed my decklist at least twenty times before going Platinum 1. But for me the theorycraft part is the most fun in this game so it's ok :D

@@nerototo Right, I play a Rescue Rabbit build usually instead of Cat, at Plat 1 as well. It allows you to play cards like Link Spider and Unexpected Dai. Also a single copy of Gladiator Rejection. I really didn't like the idea of vanillas at first, but Samite isn't much better than a vanilla 😅 I tested a build similar to yours in solo for a while yesterday and found that I think I like mine more after all. It's just a going second-focused build with Evenly Matched, Dark Ruler No More, Kaijus, etc. Access to the Battle Phase is just insane in this deck if you build to go second as I'm sure you know. I've never broken boards as easily as I do now with this, feels great.

@@temporaltomato3021 I've seen many people play a turn 2 build but waiting for the second turn is too slow and this requires putting about twenty handtraps/staples in the deck. I know it's strong but I don't like this way of playing. And I'm not a big fan of Andal, playing a pure version is more fun but I prefer the Tri-Brigade engine. On the second turn, Fraktall is a one card combo and even though I built my deck to go first, it's always nice to have an option like that when you lose the coin toss.

@@nerototo Yeah I play the tri-brigade engine too - off Fraktall + any Kerass discard fodder you can summon shuraig, send it for the link 2 tribrigade, search rescue rabbit, special summon it with the link 2's effect immediately. And that's all before normal summon. Twenty staples is a bit much 😅 I play a couple Prosperity's to hunt for help or just a combo piece, Maxx C, Ash, and a couple copies each of Gadarla, Evenly Matched, Dark Ruler No More, and Lightning Storm. Plays absolutely fine going first assuming you draw your starters consistently enough either way. Still have the Called By of course. I just hate going second to Drytron and basically auto-losing :/

Samnite c'est le seul gladiateur qui peut être invoqué avec l'effet de Chat sauveteur, en gros ça permet d'invoquer Panthère de laboratoire juste avec 1 Chat. Et j'aime trop la polyvalence de Suppression donc je le joue à 3 et Gouttelette c'est juste une cible pour Suppression.

Je préfère donner la priorité à des nouveaux decks mais quand ils ajouteront des nouveaux rangs je pourrais éventuellement essayer avec Gladiator Beast et en faire une vidéo.

I searched for a long time for a solution to replace Maxx C and Reasoning but I couldn't find a better option. I would have liked to try Upstart Goblin but it's way too expensive. And I know Reasoning has its flaws but it works pretty well. I mainly use it to bait Ash Blossom.

Thanks for your comment! Yeah I don't play Tezcatlipoca for the reasons you mentioned. I used to play Allure but banishing a dark monster from my hand was way too frustrating and penalizing.

Indeed, specially since you're playing 1 of, Except for Ixchel because ofc you play 3 And had you thought on other Rank 8? Girsu could be useful on both turns, same for Hope Bringer, or is the deck too tight? (or low on resources)

@@Jyxero I had thought of adding them (especially Number 38) but actually I didn't want to spend more resources on these cards which are optional. Also, I rarely get the opportunity to do an 8* xyz summon so I preferred to use the cheap xyz package :)

Sometimes my starting hand is better to go second but 90% of the time it's better to go first so go first if you can.

You don't need Nibiru in any deck. You need Nibiru according to the meta and personally I think it's not useful right now because there's a lot of Eldlich and Nibiru is a dead card in this matchup.

Honestly if your goal is just to reach Platinum 1 there are much better options than Darklord. You can try but it will be difficult, apart from that the deck is very fun to play.

Embrace the darkness... And unlike other dark decks this one has waifus Also pepare to brick, but put an imaginary poker face, maybe that convince opponent you're playing Psy-frame

With Darklord the combos already cost way too many cards so playing Droplet is not a good idea for me.

Ruler is an underrated option, as like mentioned above, the deck didn't earn it's "Bricklord" nickname for being one card combo

Maybe because he didn't think he could just get rid of it that way. Or because he knows Salamangreat Sanctuary will save Iblee from being destroyed and there's no point in attacking.

Yes it can work in this deck but I don't know if it's necessary. If you already have it you can try but otherwise it's not worth crafting because the deck is consistent enough.

One of its effects is "You cannot special summon monsters, except link monsters."

The most common ways to remove Iblee are Forbidden Droplet or simply using Iblee as material for a link summon.

If you like cyberse decks I recommend Salamangreat rather than Code Talker. Code Talker is cool but the combos are very long and you quickly get tired of it. While Salamangreat is a lot more consistent, more fun, and very strong against the meta once you master it. I made a video on it if you want to see 👍

@nero549 I say both are good. My Code Talker deck is relatively fast with it's combos and can pack a punch.

I would have liked to explain but my English is bad and in writing it would take too much time :/ But I'm sure it's not hard to find other videos that explain the basic combos 😉
