We have seen the Kgalagadi in good years, so to have we seen it after a few years of drought, each year drier than the year before. This year the Kalahari Sour Grass was incredible, most already a golden colour but some patches were still showing some green. The grass was hip high places and most of the red dunes were "invisible" under the blanket of grass. What an incredible sight.
