Why obsess over the ends? I simply cut mine off and solder them.

Looks FANTASTIC. But I'm worried I'd get the wire wrapped around my Pinky and it would get chopped off!!!!

Thank you so very much for this tutorial! I've been wanting to do this but had no idea what to do. I've got 2 dremels and now I can use one to make the coils that I now know how to do.i don't expect the first ones to be perfect but I'll keep at it until I'm happy with the result. Thanks again!!

Loving the drill techniques. Tried it a few times with 16 and 12 gauge. Havent tried coiling though but i think ill give it a go!!!

I use a needle tool: a large gauge, sharp needle in a pin vise. Works well.

The camera keeps loosing focus because the cab is right there in the middle, under your moving hands. A big contrasting stationary thing. It is always in focus.
