Ostrich egg unpacking
I got an ostrich egg as part of a birthday gift for my girlfriend. (Unfortunately it did not arrive on time, but thats another story).
The farm I ordered from appearently holds the Guinness World Record for largest ostrich egg, weighing in at 2589 grams (or about 5.7 lbs). Obviously this is not it. The egg in the video weighs about 1600 grams (3.52 lbs).
Ill keep the shell to make something cool with it in the future.
Thanks for watching

So what did you do with it? What did you melt?

I haven't melted anything with it yet, I use it to forge metal for tools im making. I guess I should put up a video of that 👍

I love the black and white clock that looked like Felix the Cat. I love that the eye moves, but the chains would be more than my cat could handle.

I like to see your next restoration. I used to restore and make furniture in the craftsmen style but ran out of room in our house. I used sprayed and hand applied polymerized tung oil. Here is a link , stay the course do what you do best and you can make money here on RUclips ruclips.net/video/42iI6dkuV6s/видео.html

Seeing results is nice but maybe add in the description HOW you sharpened this old chisel.

So I saw your comment about this on a video comparing dry vs wet tumbling and after watching it got me thinking if instead of completely dry media would having it full of water but still putting a small amount of abrasive media in it like you would use in a sand blaster, just enough to make the water cloudy and maybe it would act like a wet sanding scrubber thingy, not sure but I don't have one so maybe you could give it the ole college try for a fellow AvE fan?
