Always great shows from you Landry definitely a fan of yours. I feel like all the flaws on offense starts directly with Slowik you can’t call lopsided games like 35 pass plays to only 12 running plays that’s a recipe for disaster if we look at OC’s like Kliff Kingsbury the other night against the Falcons he called 30 pass plays to 30 run plays. Slowik needs to learn to adapt to the strengths of his team. Idk why Slowik doesn’t use a fullback in the backfield. If 2 runs don’t work it’s like CJ throw 50 times a game and put on the superman cape which makes the offense predictable and gets CJ sacked a million times a game

Locker is struggling to accept the fact that the Texans have a mediocre offensive roster. The Texans are just not that talented offensively. CJ will fail if they don't heavily invest in the offense. They have a below average running game and offensive line. Forget about Mixon's occasional explosive runs, and instead, look at their early-down run success rate. It is near the BOTTOM of the league. They also have a below average receiving core, and Slowick is still learning on the job. All these things COMBINED matter A LOT!! None of the so-called elite QBs are dealing with ALL THESE THINGS AT ONCE!! NOT EVEN MAHOMES!!! The Chiefs have Andy Reid as a play-caller and an above league average early-down run success rate. As for Jayden, he has an experienced HC who had previously led a team to a Superbowl. His OC (Kingsberry) was a PROVEN player-caller at BOTH the college and NFL levels. His WR1 (Scary Terry), was a PROVEN WR1 before Daniels came into the league. All that MATTERS! CJ's situation is more similar to what Sam Darnold was dealing with earlier in his career with the Jets, and it was a disaster for Sam. CJ has been more successful under similar circumstances, but he is still struggling and beginning to regress under the pressure of the spotlight. The good news for CJ is that based on what he has put on tape so far this year, a good many teams in the NFL will be willing to build around him if the Texans are not. People forget that CJ was TOP 6 in PFF grade after the first third of the season, and TOP 8 after the first half of the season.

I think people need to just stop freaking TH out and wanting to throw the baby out with the bath water. #1 The season wasn't a total loss. Dissappointment yes but we won our division and are going into the playoffs. #2 For those of us paying attention, we saw the offensive struggles by week 3. They seem to fix the excessive penalties but lacked imagination when it came to play calling and offensive production failed miserably. #3 I don't know if it's just my perception but we sure do seem to suffer from injuries alot. #4 Cj's poor performances are a direct correllation to his lack of accuracy and decission making. Fix his protection and I'm sure his potential for greatness climbs greatly. #5 IMO the biggest move for offseason is to decide if Demeco moves on from Slowick. This offense is dull and predicatable and can't we in even with a better O line.

Landry this team is what I thought they would be. I love you brother but you, Cody, and all the 610 host built DeMeco, CJ, and the team up over the last year and they just weren’t as good as yall were saying. In preseason I brought up haw bad the O line looked and how Patterson was better than Scruggs at center and I took an on line beating from yall over it, especially Seth. This team simply isn’t at the level yall think they are and DeMeco has huge coaching flaws that must be fixed before they’ll win

Well, they definitely are meh for me right now! I can't watch this crap. If nothing is done in the off season I'm pretty sure my interest is going to disappear for next season too. Too many more things in life that are more important than watching this team right now. Even when this team wins, it makes me mad. CJ has regressed, the OL sucks the offense in general is unwatchable. This is the first season in. I don't know how many years that I enjoyed watching the defense more than the offense. That says a lot. I like CJ, but I fear they have ruined him. Slowik needs to go.

I don't know what they need to see to change the play caller. At this point, I am convinced that DeMeco will not fire his friend. The offensive line coach needs to go as well, and I don't have any confidence that they will make these changes in the offseason. This is a bad team that got lucky they play in the AFC South.

DR will be a great head coach. His lack of experience is showing. Is he the guy that can make the hard decisions? Oline and OC must be fired that's that. I believe he's the guy that can lead us. But this is a tough time. There's really nothing you can do to fix your biggest issues right now. I'm hoping we win our first playoff game. Maybe we receive some kind of miracle.

Let's be honest, Landry. DeMeco's hire was because it was a good storyline. 🤷🏾‍♂️ What evidence did we have to say he'd be a good head coach? Dude was a D-coordinator for two szns with a San Fran defense that had savages on it. Then he decides to hire rookie coaches at their respective positions. An oline coach that's never coached the zone scheme is insane. This mediocre szn doesn't surprise me one bit. The problem is organizational.

The “elite” guys have talked about being beat up and it affecting their play. I’m not going to overlook losing weapons at every stage of the season either. I think CJ is going to have everyone thinking they should’ve just shut up. He can make every throw. The team just needs to put it all together.

Did you all see Nate Tice's breakdown of our OL woes? John Crumpler's too. OL is missing HS football stuff. Seth Payne also does his breakdowns with a former Texan player and now HS coach. Yup, says the same thing. How is it that neither DeMeco nor anyone else on that coaching staff is UNABLE to see this, much alone fix it? If Slowik.isn't gone next year, CJ will have to bring in his own coach to fix this offense.

How can you play defense if your offense keeps putting you in bad position. And elite defense is gonna break eventually. Most pressure is still on CJ.
