I've seen Edgar Winter twice in concert. The first time was in the 70s, the last time was shortly after Johnny had passed away. When he mentioned his brother, the entire audience was on their feet, and I think Edgar got a little choked up. Johnny Winter was an incredible blues guitarist.

I’m so happy you’re bringing Rory back for a new generation. Hendrix when asked what it felt like to be the greatest guitarist said you should ask Rory and Terry Kath. Check out Chicago live at Tanglewood. The guitar was a toy in his hands, and I loved his voice.

Glad you enjoyed your first experience with Rory. There are a lot of great videos of his performances on YT. Nice hat btw. First time I saw Rory was the at the Baltimore Civic Center, 1973.

Rory was a shy humble Irish guy. But when he hit the stage he turned into a beast. I saw him in 1972 at a huge all day open air rock festival in North Carolina, lots of very famous bands but he blew them away. I will never forget him. A fantastic entertainer who connected immediately with the crowd.

I suppose you've got great ears for music. That is the very song that she picked up in an interview because it was the hardest one out of many songs she had performed on the TV shows for her to sing due to breathlessness throughout the performance. I mean even for her greatness.

By the way, Kim is her last name, Sohyang is her first name. In some Asian countries they write the surname/family name first. Kim is a very common last name in South Korea, much like Smith would be in the west.

Bill Withers wrote the original in 1972. Michael Bolton released a cover in 1993 that made the song popular again. This Immortal Songs 2 show was a special on MB. All the singers covered either his original songs or his popular covers. Part of this show is the artists must rearrange the song they chose to do. So this is a cover of a cover rearranged. 😂
