Why are they deleting the scenes? It's so beautiful. Why would anyone feel the need to delete these scenes? It's so beautiful!!!!! Also, it definitely had to be a 2nd movie, it shouldn't have ended like this! I understand that at that time, the girl was 14 and the boy was 21, so they couldn't shoot anything like a kissing scene, but for example, a second movie could have come a few years later and the girl would have grown up too. Why? I mean, it's not too late, they can still shoot it right now. I think if we gather together as the audience of the movie and start a signature thing, they will shoot it on the internet or if we bombard them with messages on Instagram, what do you think? I thought about his death a lot and I think in the scenario it was ‘best’ he dies like this because he would have died anyway… most nazi soldiers were killed regardless of who they were (for most of them there weren’t any trial, they were killed on sight by the allies - mostly usa but also uk etc …) and also politically as an American movie it wouldn’t be advisable that the American army kills him. It’s best to end the movie on just reminding us with the fact the nazis soldiers were awful people. (He could be the idea that maybe not all the soldiers or people at that time were bad and that the system was just so awful they lived with it - a moment he said you do what you need to do to survive - so it is blurry but maybe Germans in that period of time just let the system govern how they think and act by fear of getting killed or deported, it is not in any way honourable but I guess it can remind us how easy it is to influence us even when it’s about the worst, straight of hell thoughts 😔 actually that comment made me emotional haha 💕protect the people everyone ❤ don’t let fear, misinformation or ignorance keep you from the truth and the good 💕💕
