@ players I hate facing (no particular order) Van de ven (turns into prime John Terry when ai controlled) Ousmane dembele Darwin nunez (type of guy in a game u dominate just gets 1 shot 1 goal) I’ve only ever played against a guy with kane once but he’s what I’m saving my cp for. You absolutely can if you are enjoying that setting for your CBs. I personally like pressuring high and that helps! The depth is also personal preference but you absolutely can make those changes. If you do let me know how it goes!

I'm going to do a video on scoring on 5 back systems. It's quite easy once you know what to look for. Especially considering many players don't defend right. However ALL FORMATIONS are broken defensively so that is definitely in consideration....those top players DEFINITELY would be who you want to try to break down walls of defenders.

Ufl just needs to give the ability to win the ball back. In fc post patch you can try to keep the ball if you want but your opponent is MOST LIKELY going to win it back and then you are in a bad spot. In UFL the lack of pressure makes it like a cheat.

@ as they have a metered bar for ‘depth of defence’ and ‘players in the box’, there should be one for ‘pressing intensity’ and ‘line of engagement’ just like in Football Manager. This way you have more control over how your team presses. As with most suggestions, we don’t know if UFL has the facilities to implement these ideas. This game really should still be in alpha/beta stages but bills must be paid!

That's great to hear. If you like it now then it will only get better for you. Problem is the amount of players...by the numbers...that don't like the game are going to cause there to not be a game at all UNLESS the developers can work some magic

I just did tactics video on an aggressive 4231 wide. I prefer 4231 narrow typically but the meta in ufl calls for wide. I use a 4213 in FC. 5 BACK IS NOT the problem though. It is the broken defense system in UFL. PLAY 5 back in a good game...such as post patch fc..and it's like any other formation.

Hence why I play FC now competitively and only play ufl "for fun"...which in it's current state it is barely fun This is exactly what led to EAFC crashing until EA SPORTS finally woke up. UFL needs to fix the defence...go back to how it was at initial release or they will continue losing players. I've been saying that for a while now. We can agree to disagree but it is not 5 back that is the issue.

@O-G_gamester Yeah the fundamental issue overall is the game's heavy AI interference. I'm an eFootball player. I began playing UFL because of the AI assist in eFootball and now here I am experiencing the same thing. 💀 But yep, my patience along with many other's I'm sure is wearing thin. Srikerz need to realise the initial allure of their game was the open freedom & fun aspect. It's lightyears behind eFootball and FC in other departments, let's be honest. But if they don't revert to how manual the defending was then this game won't be around by Xmas. Facts.

For me it doesn't work either

If you aren't able to play a high line or aggressive defense then you simply have to drop your line back. I recommend that with any tactics. Sometimes it's just a matter of working on your ability with the sticks (controller). Above all else your ability on the sticks matters most. But if you feel it is 100% a tactical matter and not skill issue then you have 2 options 1. Move your depth back and make your defenders player roles more defensive...based on what you were saying 2. Choose a different formation that may suit you better Good luck!

My friend personally I’d recommend u persist with playing a high line and aggressive approach. UFL Will inevitably nerf AI defence and rebalance the pressing settings to make this approach more viable. Obviously do what u need to do to get ur objectives done but in general it’s best to adapt

My friend. This statement is the most ridiculous thing I have seen. 🤣 1. Then why are you on here? 2. I strongly suggest if you put your time into something that you start caring about it. No such thing as "caring way to much". It's simply called putting in the effort at something I commit a lot of time into and helping others who put in the time as well and need guidance.

@jamiecollins6832 I would go as far as to say the true question goes to those that are to lazy to put in the time to improve at the game and rather decide to find any glitch or exploit so they can cut corners but still win...knowing they didn't win by skill...but still wasting their time. I'm not saying you are one of those players, but if you are then I suggest putting some effort into learning the game. It will be a lot more fun if you do that!

Sorry bro but 5 back IS NOT THE PROBLEM. This is not pre patch fifa my man Don't worry you are not alone with your take. Many people say this but if 5 back was such an issue they would ban it like FC did until they could fix it. When you play 5 back YOU SACRIFICE AN ATTACKER OR MIDFIELDER and you MUST be good at player switching or you will get roasted by snapshots all day long. It is viable because of the meta. It is where the game is at. 5 back 10000% is not park the bus. Your wingbacks become like wingers and create a 5 to 7 man attack as well. Hope this makes sense. Good luck on the pitch

10000% helps battle BOTH driving endline meta attack and snapshot bc you have that extra defender to now HARD PRESS attackers and still have defensive stability. Then the 3 prong WIDE attack makes for perfect attacking set ups both driving endline for a cut back pass AND playing into striker for a 1 time shot. Think about it. When you drive endline you typically go for that 1 target up front and this actually creates more space for that target since another striker or cam won't be congesting the space

The current state of UFL is definitely not my cup of tea. However UFL has done a great job disturbing the empire of eafc as well as providing a GREAT initial release gameplay wise so I'm holding out hope they can get back to that!

UFL is a very busted game. But this is truly THE META. if you want the most fun way to play I say 4-1-2-1-2 WIDE because you can ping the ball around and still find OP ways to score. This is just UFL man. The numbers are falling and all the cheats and rats are festering this game bc they can't do this stuff in FC anymore. Sucks to say but that's where we are at in UFL.

I love Mendy in FC. I honestly love Udogie more though in both games AND once I went Udogie I never even thought about another change at LB

After the new ,,pass improvement system" I have noticed one bug: The bug: you pass the ball with a high power. In some cases, if a defender is literally near the ball, facing the ball, he will deny the contact. I can control the defender and go to intercept the ball, it seems so easy at first, but the defender is going through the ball, he runs like the ball is not even on the pitch or he will look at the ball for like 2 seconds standing still. The script is made in some cases to reach 100 % the player so no matter what you do or how many defenders you have near the ball or near the player who receives it, it will no matter. It is sad, old bugs were not enough so now new bugs are delivered after every patch..
