I was at the Royal Albert Hall that night! I flew all the way from the US just to see him and it was without a doubt the event of my life! Mr. Clapton and his band were awesome as always, but when he played Purple Rain for the encore you could just feel the overwhelming magic that filled the Hall, as he and the audience were sooooooooo connected! He even leaned forward asking us to sing more! :) I think that Mr. Clapton was, and still is, the very best of the best! I feel privileged that he is still performing for us with the pain he goes through with hearing loss and neuropathy . Thank you Mr. Clapton for all your years of performing for us and your giving heart and soul to help others through Crossroads. I pray I can go to many more of his performances! :)

To be very honest from this itself it’s very obvious that though Eric Clapton is a legend himself he is not able to do this song like Prince did. Sad God has stopped manufacturing people like these anymore. RIP Prince. 🙏
