We did one. With our group it was worth it. Although the best viewing we ever had was watching illuminations dead center of the lagoon by the fence, front row. I believe they make you pay for that now as well. It felt dangerously close and was so thrilling! You could see the props so nicely too. As for the boat, the extra space and comfort was nice. We ended up rafted up with a boat of very kind and chatty Disney Executives that were also having a great night. Because we go to Disney so much, I'm all for new experiences or enjoying things in a new way.

This Skyliner resort is a hit for all ages! The suites here sleep up to 6 adults! You have 3 different themed suite options. The Lion King, Cars and Finding Nemo. Finding Nemo building is located in the middle of the resort which is considered the preferred room location. This is closest to the main pool, main lobby and dining along with just steps away from the skyliner which is a great mode of transportation! There’s a problem with Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique… Many options seem a little childish for older kids. My daughter was 10 and felt too old to dress like a character, so we personalized her makeover with tween style! Here’s how you can give your tween a “glow up” Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience! 👗 Dress shop before your trip! Let your tween choose her own style instead of a character dress! My daughter chose a sparkly pink dress from Amazon that made her feel like her own kind of princess! 👑 Bring a tiara! Only 1 Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique hair style includes a tiara (and it’s a tiny one!), so if your tween wants a little extra bling, you can take your own headpiece! We went to Arribas Brothers in Magic Kingdom to pick out a tiara, and we both had a blast trying on all the styles! The fairy godmother’s apprentice was more than happy to add this crown to my daughter’s hair style! 💅 A little pampering! Who doesn’t enjoy a little pampering? We used this pathway to waste time after fireworks to avoid the Main Street crowds! This isnt a very busy pathway at any time of day though and although you may hear the random yelling of the excited riders entering the grid- its still a great place to escape and keep moving! My bubs loves a good stroller nap BUT we have to keep moving! Once he was sleeping though we moved to other places in the park! Do you love Happily Ever After but hate trying to find a spot?! Well if you are a lover of all things HEA, drinks, sweets, and good vibes- you might want to splurge on a dessert party! There are 3 different types of dessert parties: Pre-Party: allows you to visit tomorrowland terrace before the fireworks and enjoy your drinks and sweets. Before the show, you are escorted to a reserved standing location for fireworks Post-Party: check in before the show, be escorted to the reserved standing location, and then return to tomorrowland terrace for your sweets and drinks! Seats and Sweets: enjoy your sweets and drinks WHILE you sit at a reserved table during the show! This might have been my biggest Disney splurge to date! I did the seats and sweets and these views were everything🥰✨ we had cupcakes, crepes, cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, cheese and fruit, plus wine and champagne🍷🥂 with a side of water and POG juice too! This is amazing for adults and families! My boys, 4 and 2, really enjoyed the show for the first time and we didnt have to worry about any crowds! Much more relaxing for us parents! There was nothing like watching their faces light up as Tink flew right over us✨🤩🥹 Pro tip: DO NOT wait until the assigned time on the app to check in. My check in time was 8:20 and I got there at 8:10 and we were the last table!! Doctors have found an unusual but fun way to get rid of painful kidney stones - but it will cost the patient a trip to Disney World! Believe it or not, the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association reported a study that proves many people are highly likely to pass kidney stones after going on Big Thunder Mountain - Magic Kingdom’s jolty and turbulent roller coaster (and a fan favorite, might I add). Here’s the kicker from the study done - seat assignment is important! When case studies were seated in the REAR car of the roller coaster, the kidney stones, regardless of their size or location in the patient’s kidney, passed nearly 64% of the time, according to the study. I mean - whoa! That is a high percentage! When the researchers sat in the front of the roller coaster, however, the stones passed only about 17% of the time, the researchers found. Kidney stone or not, this is one of my favorite rides in Magic Kingdom... What a funny new fact to learn today! We went to After Hours at Magic Kingdom last week and it did not disappoint! This is a great way to enjoy a less crowded Magic Kingdom at a hard ticketed event.
