Wonderful, and Beautiful 😍
Oh ok, I had no idea what you were making in the pot. It would have been nice to actually see you make the banana cream & coconut cream pies & I would have loved to see how your apple pie turned out! I love your pie crust recipe though!
I’m always looking for new ideas to make rolls. These look so easy and delicious. You’re a very good teacher. I really appreciate the camera showing exactly what the dough should look like when finished. I struggle with that because I have always made dough by hand. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more videos. ❤️🇨🇦
Looks delicious 🤤 I have been cooking for 50 years and did not know that putting corn in the freezer helps retain moisture. I will be sure to try this recipe. Also love how you crimp pie dough. Subscribed. ❤️🇨🇦
Why not use butter? I live in South Africa and we don’t have Cresco here.
How much crisco
Wow you made the prettiest edge on you crust I have ever seen. My MIL made a different but beautiful pie crust also. Thanks
Thank you grandma Mary❤ great looking pies I will try your style Thanks love you❤😊
I brush milk first then sprinkle sugar, and instead of flour in the apples, I use tapioca starch. That’s just how I learned it from my mom!❤
Thank you! Great video!!!
IS THE BUTTER COLD
How much crisco
Great looking recipe! Glad I came across your channel. For those of you who are asking how much Crisco, she has the recipe under the title. (Just click on the title)
I have a similar recipe. An added trick I use is to add 1 teaspoon of baking powder in with the flour. I believe it helps the flakiness.
This was such a thoughtful video and thank you for sharing your wonderful knowledge. I learned so much!
darn nice Miss Mary thanks for sharing
Very very nice!...thanks you much!
🙏🏻🦋🙏🏻THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE SEEN 🙏🏻🦋🙏🏻
Very good video except how much crisco ? It looked like a cup
How much Crisco ?
Gross Crisco so bad for you
I love your video!A long time pie baker,I’ve learned a couple great tips from you!Best looking crusts&great taste!❤👏💯
Thank you for your guidance!! Great job!
Thankyou for sharing,, was the crisco cold?
Great video and pies! For the cream mixture do you use salted or unsalted butter?
Ive always brush it with egg wash on top then add granulated sugar. I love that she uses foil over the pie .
🌟Yeeesss! This beef enchiladas recipe is very tasty, easy, and very very practical! I used to pass the tortillas on oil in the skill it one by one and is time-consuming when cooking for a big gathering. I LOVED your technique better. That will be my secret, now 😄 thank you 🙏🏻
❤🌟 Loved it! I’ve never baked because I’m insecure and think I’ll messed it up. But this video has motivated me to try Thank you 🙏🏻 😄 I want to make all 3 pies 🥧
Thank you so much for all the information, I'm new to making pie crust, I'm 74 years old and still can't make a decent pie crust. You explained it so well, I will try again. Thank you again!
My pie came out watery. How do you know how much flour to put in the apples?
Was that one cup of shortening?
That’s what I’m wondering
I love the way u explain things
❤thank you so much❤
I have the same stove. Love it. Thank u fir the video.
i lve it
Thank you grandma Mary! This is the most helpful and in depth pie crust video I’ve seen 💕
Thank u for sharing. I’m going to try making this
Amazing job thanks so much 😊
Lovely
I think that you made the prettiest pie that I have ever seen. I do think it would be nice if your face was showing while you’re making the pie instead of just your chin down. I also think that it would be a good idea if you would smile once in a while at least at the beginning and the end I think you did an amazing job. If you get a chance look up Brenda Gantt. I think she is an amazing cook but to tell you the truth her pie couldn’t touch yours but I love her. Have a nice day and thank you.
Why didn't you show how your apple pie turned out?
Thank you so much for sharing your pie crust with us, you make it look so easy. I will definitely give your pie crust a try. God bless 🙏
When you make a cream pie and are heating up the stuff on the stove, use a rubber ladle (not plastic) to constantly stir it - make sure the ladle can handle the heat. After you've heated up the cream pie filling transfer it to a clean pan the same as what you used to heat it up in so the filling doesn't scorch. And when it comes to banana cream pie mix your bananas in a tablespoon of lemon juice to keep them from turning brown. 🫓😁
What about coconut banana crème?
I'm going to try this lasagna tonight. I just wanted to say that someone needs to go take care of all the items that were not mentioned on the ingredients & quantities list below the video. Also, it would be nice to have the ingredients and quantities used in making the french bread. After the video, I just located the recipe below the video and printed it out, and ran to the store. When I got back and was putting this together, I had to stop and go back to the store and get the other items and quantities that were not listed on the original recipe posted below the video. I know you are a newbie to this RUclips stuff and are learning each time you post. I'm learning to pay closer attention to the posted ingredients & quantities list also. THANK YOU FOR THE TIME YOU PUT INTO THIS POST. GREAT JOB.
I see part of an email address above. How do I get the email address so I can email you without taking up space on your channel? If you don't mind. I promise I'm not a stalker.
I just subscribed to your channel. I'm an avid RUclipsr who loves to cook and try new things. You are the bomb. You have this down to a science and I love it. I've literally watched thousands of youtube videos over the years. And you are a competitor to be reckoned with for sure. Martha Stewart has nothing on you. Actually, I'd rather watch you than Martha. (No offense Martha) I just passed the link to your YT channel to my daughter and a bunch of my friends. Keep up the good work and I'm going to try to reproduce your lasagna recipe once I go to the store to restock.
You are so kind. Thank you.
Ive made this banana cream pie for years. It's a family favorite. Do you have any secrets for blind baking the shells so they don't fall while they are baking?
Can you rephrase what you said I think you're talking about the dough puffing up - people use beans to hold the filling down. I think I saw Martha Stewart do it and she reuses the beans.
You can use uncooked Rice instead of beans. I cook my pie crust at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes let cool add filling and cook pie until it is done. This keeps the pie crust from having a raw bottom. It works every time for me. BTW I do prick the crust before browning the crust the 8-10 minutes.
Make sure you do not stretch the dough while you are rolling it out and forming the edges. The dough requires a lot of fork pricks to make sure it does not shrink. The puffing does allow the crust to be a little flakier.
Make us some chicken and dumplings.
Great looking pies
