Good rundown. I disagree a bit, as I was disappointed with the first few episodes. Just weren't that good. But, I will say that as the season went on, I thought every episode got stronger than the one before. By the time of the finale, that episode hit it out of the park. Makes me really excited about season 2 - hopefully they can keep this constant improvement/high quality up!

We all know what happened, he was struggling with substance abuse even before the show began, then he got diagnosed with HIV and that sent him even further into the edge.
