This channel is all about my family and taking them on adventures around Australia, far and close, and a little twist to our journey, I do FPV (first person view, which is a drone). The videos are meant to be for my daughters for memories but they say that I'm 'cringey'. We like Boating, camping, fishing, motorbikes, and anything to do with outdoor activities. Took the big T7 out to my local riding area, how I love this thing and how good they are to ride. The T7 never gets old with its performance and handling for adventure bike, haha but I ride it like my others bikes and some times I forget I'm riding a 220Kg AD bike. Just watched this again Leachy as I'm searching for Tyre solutions for my T7. On a recent ride at Kenilworth I had so much trouble, not so much with the rear but the front, (still factory Tyres at 13500klm) as soon as it got the slightest bit muddy the front went wherever it wanted to, bloody hopeless riding with both feet on the ground basically. I'm really only doing 70/30 riding these days so don't want a 50/50 Tyre. Also, can you run a 140 instead of a 150 rear ? difference is price is massive. Cheers mate 👍👍

Love such tutorials man, thanks a lot! Quick question, do you think you would be able to get the staples in with a mechanical stapler? I have one that I've used to do work at home, no problem to go through several layers of fabric + wood but I'm wondering if it would work through the plastic of the seat. What do you think?
I cant see why it wouldn't work, I just have the right tools at the time. Just try it first and see how you go, you cant hurt anything 👍. Thanks for watching .

Picked up me new wr 450 yesterday and man I like it , but the misses is telling me I got to sell the 2003 which I’ve had since new , that’s going to be a sad day , twenty years on and still an awesome machine !👍 ☹️

I added an air cushion and seat cover. Works great. Did 1000 km over the weekend, no issues. Cheap and effective.

A rider's enemy is the voice which says to just go and go! Everything is about assessment and error on the side of caution. When I first saw the shot I thought, he's going pretty fast on that loose dirt, then you came to the turn. Too relaxed and confident. Know your road or at least stay in a cautious state of mind. It will save a lot of grief. I went to Utah and fell down doing nothing wrong on wet salt. I came home and rode a gravel I normally ride through, and I did with a lot more caution. Learn to be cautious. It's still fun.

Im looking at one of these from Caboolture Yamaha. Did you uncork yours or do they do that already from the dealer for Australia as all the videos ive seen online they uncork them as they have emission items in the airbox and muffler on the WRs only which makes them alot more doey to ride.
Northstar did my one, but you should ask otherwise!!! they probably won’t, other thing is, I asked for the front brake hose to be changed out too. The muffler is worth changing out for my experience.
Epic little vid thanks mate. Have got one for myself on its way, and just trying to suss out what I want them to do to it before I pick it up. Appreciate your tip there about the brake hose, just wondering why you changed it out and what what you changed it out with?
@@BKWR450 The standard brake line is spongy, the bike comes with a braided line in the kit that you get from the dealer, highly recommend to swap over. cheers leachy ✌✌

How does it ride on the road in traffic? I want to use one as a commuter bike as well. Seems like the crf450l is a good compromise but can't buy new any more
If you use it as a commuter you get around 100 to 130 km, Not sure what that is in miles. I say supermotards wheels would be awesome for it especially a bit of fun on the blacktop, but again pending what you want to do with it. Ride on road is ok, seems to rev a far bit, otherwise a standard sprocket could be considered if you swap out for more highway use. Cheers leachy hope I’ve answered your question.

I did love this car, unfortunately it’s been stolen and written off now!!! To answer your question it feels like a comfortable track car and there is no cabin noise at all, just a nice pop and crackles we in N mode ahhhh I miss this 😢

that was a great ride, but when I see a big log across the track like that I just turn around or go around it . The T7 are great bikes but a bit heavy for me to pick up when I come off . Its funny too that you have a WR450 ,my son just dropped one off for me to put the lights and blinkers back on so its legal when getting to the tracks . I haven't been on a WR450 before so I might have to keep it for a while. Great video , I've liked and subscribed so I can now go and check your channel out later.👍👍

Thank you for the video, I can't take riding the T7 for more than 2 or three hours at best. Going to try you mod and add a gel pad in with it. Really want to do some long range riding but just can't as it is! I even bought a Seat Concepts "low comfort" seat (I'm not blessed with long legs), and it's no better than the stock seat, maybe even a bit worse...

@@Rubmaster I bought the softest foam I could get and installed in on the stock seat, it's more comfortable but not a heck of a lot. I'm going to buy the softest foam seat concepts sells for their comfort seat, it will be same height as stock so it's not the "low comfort" but I've gotten used to tip toeing the bike. I'm waiting for better weather to come around before I spend the money on the new foam and cover that will be needed...

Great and easy mod. I arrived yesterday from a 1500km trip and it still hurts down there....I was just thinking that the seat is not so bad just those edges and seeing your video I'm gonna give it a try!

Good call mate. Seat concepts seats so over priced $650 + AUD for some seat foam and a vinyl cover ! Then you have to fit it to your existing seat .

Yes they do have them in stock now with the Austraila supplier anyway not sure anywhere else.
