I was watching the Andy Griffith show and Barbara Eden was on as the new town manicurist.
I want to buy one Banjo, and have the chance to go to a second hand Epiphone MB-200 or this HB BJ-55Pro (new of course), both at the same price. Do you know wich one is better? I'm 62 y/o and I'm completely lost in the world of Banjos, so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

@@AnnLippert1 The Churchill’s lived next door to us. That barn burned down in the early sixties. I only noticed your that you said how young you were. We lived in the ranch house with the brick facade. Right in the middle of the. Circle.

**** UPDATE ON POOL. it only lasted 2 summers. I set it up a few weeks ago (June 2024) and it had several leaks. too many to mess with. I threw the pool away and bought an 8-foot pool instead of the 10-foot.

@@AnnLippert1 that's good. It's all about the love of the instrument anyways, long as you enjoy that's all that matters.
This is not at all a prime example of what banjos are capable of sounding like. At 88, the head tension is way too loose and that's why, sorry to say, this banjo sounds so lame. Up the head tension to 91~92 and then we're talking a banjo that's ready for a proper & meaningful review.
I never claimed to be a banjo expert. If you think up the tension to 91-92 i believe you!!! and THANK YOU!! Glad i bought that drum dial!!
Mine is a late 70's lita model 223 banjo' been thinking about getting the same one you're showing' used one for a backup.

I can’t make it work on iOS iPhone even jack or usb to lightning, any clue?? I click and change the reception color from green to blue, try and green again and try but nothing… im not sure if is the recording app or what but i cant makenit work
Darn I'm sorry I do not have an iPhone. But perhaps there is someone who will know.
@@AnnLippert1 sorry for no come here before. I was able to solve it. 1) First you have to turn on the mic with blue light without plugin. 2) Then you can connect the receptor into the tipical jack adapter to lightning and just works fine... There is a tricky instructions haha... Thanks anyways.

Question I'm using the mic for my camera my mic is acting up getting a new one when I use the mic I press both buttons at the same time . When I saw your video you only pressed the receiver first do you have to do it like that to work as well or my way works too
I THINK i hit both at the same time. i don't think it matters, as long as both blue lights light up they are "paired."

Well. I can't say because I've never used it on a camera? but you could try it!?! But if a phone, the audio jack. (which on most phones is the same as the charger)

That was a scream !!!! My daughter who knows nothing about Lavern and Shirley , just got a brand new puppy . She named her “ Betty “. So every time I see her I say “ “ Betty Please “….. And I could not remember where I got that from it’s been so long . My wife said “ Lavern and Shirley “. She was right !!!!!!
