I play for the youth academy
The RFU told cov saracens to F O in 1986 So the womens union cant commit children to Rugby union now or in the future ever again . Rugby is for police children full stop as the rest are working on building finance and not getting injured Earl Buckingham, National Rugby Champion 1985
Thats why RU employ RL legends as coaches!
There are quite a lot, eh?

Great club, great clubhouse!
Springboks bring the best out of you
Kay -lin Blade,,i am Irish
Thank you 😀
Its an addiction thats broken the first time you see a guy paralyzed neck down from a bad tackle while his wife and kids cry and scream as the ambulance takes him away
I'm sorry for your experience. However, accidents can happen in all parts of life, not just rugby. It's a great sport and will continue to be a great sport - thankfully these accidents are incredibly rare.
@amateurrugbypodcast happens less at chess championships though, that guys casual hobby cost his family their home and lives as they knew them and now he's totally dependant forever
Don't be gettin notions now.
And and they all had just come off the bench
Bad Call by the ref. As kla was onside and on his feet As the ruck had dissolved and the line of offside being ball carrier lying on the ground being the offside line and as kla jumps back behind the line before making contact Its a bad call
How STUPID do these OBSTRUCTION Comments sound...Are you not embarrassed to claim obstruction.???
Not everyone has the same understanding of the game, but everyone is welcome here. Please try and comment with kindness.
Understanding of the game?? Now you sound even MORE stupid...It's called WHINING when losing...
Comment with kindness?? What a pathetic society we now live in.🤣🤣🤣🤣
The forwards were a bit smoother though😂
Shhh... Don't tell the backs!
So you don’t watch all blacks games? All blacks did forwards move on Australia 78 min to clinch all black win?
All Blacks? Never heard of them. They any good?

Fucken heck yeah 💯🤘
Great game that and the better team on the day won, that’s the beauty of our game; upsets yes but undeserved very very rare. Ireland did their homework better between the two tests. Good entertainment shame there wasn’t a third test.
After seeing the crowds and the atmosphere at the games on top of the bit of niggle and lots of respect between the players in the build up, it fills me with hope, as a Leinster fan, that this rivalry bleeds into the URC with full strength teams playing each other home and away all year not just at the business end of the season.
That would be amazing, but it has to be said, highly unlikely.
Have to agree unfortunately. I still dream about them expanding the league enough to justify 2 divisions with relegation.
Kee-lin not cow-lin
Thank you, I appreciate the help. I wasn't sure about it and thought I heard one of the commentators pronounce it that way... I could very well have misheard.
@@amateurrugbypodcastit’s actually Kay Lin…
Pretty sure it’s Kay lin … also easy. Let’s have you pronounce the whole French team correctly
Smart play for sure.. done his job well,

@amateurrugbypodcast when the runner is right behind him it looks extra sweet. Ha
So sneaky...
Yawn
Tired?
@@amateurrugbypodcastbecause its Irish bullshit ireland need to lift a world cup to gain any sort of respect I agree yawwwwwn
So obstructions are fine now. Okay, boks will use it to get it banned.
No, obstructions are still against the laws. This isn't that though...
@@amateurrugbypodcast fine, watch the springboks use it and either it gets called as obstruction immediately by the ref or TMO, or, World Rugby bans it for the cycle immediately after.
The word you missed was (again) Awesome performance by the best team in the world my beloved Ireland!☘☘☘☘☘☘☘
Agreed. That was a thing of beauty. From a Bok fan...
Absolute obstruction Healey ran straight into the tackler
@@geoffmcintosh3 True, but it was a sweet move.
@@interestedbystander196 ya farrell is very good in coaching these strike plays . they make the most off these goal line drop outs as another set play like the scrum and line out to set up strike plays
@@geoffmcintosh3 really 😊
@@geoffmcintosh3 yea ok, the South African player was sucked into the tackle. He thought healy was getting it. Sure healy didn't even look until the South African player was on him. Also he has a right to run that line.
Is that not obstruction by the player moving into the tackler...just asking...
No it's not... Just answering...
@@amateurrugbypodcast
Steenekamp (17) could easily have got past Healy but he squared up against the wrong guy.
I was happy for Ireland that they won and thought they were the better team on the day until I saw the injuries to 3 key Boks players... Malcolm Marx: fractured tibia (out for 4-6 wks) following a croc roll by TWO opponents & he's only just recovered from an ACL injury... should have been a red card not yellow; Franco Mostert: broken leg (out for 6+ wks) - no penalty or card issued; Pieter-Steph du Toit: injury not yet confirmed (out for 4-6 wks); & Cheslin Kolbe: lower leg injury (out for 4+ wks). How does this happen unless the opposing team plays cynical rugby with malicious intent?!! Three major injuries in one game!!! Not to mention all the blood! Yet the Boks are touted by pundits & fans of other teams as 'physical players'. Yes, they play physical rugby within the laws of the game and use their power to their advantage, but they don't take out 3 players in one single game. I am disappointed and frankly disgusted by what has happened. I sincerely hope that the guilty parties are cited (if this can be done after a match). Filthy tactics should not be tolerated in the sport we love. www.sarugbymag.co.za/crocked-boks-count-cost-ireland-series/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2K69GhdgDqEAjL7jOikFLYdXRi_xfUaWyZQtuGFbgvYcfMcRhqKaqus5A_aem_ELbk2nxmVsSKkm6DMgp0wg
Fantastic play. It's one of those things that you have to get it exactly right. Clearly the Springbok tackler incorrectly goes for Healy, who ends up being the dummy runner. Executed correctly. In the Australia vs. Wales game, the Wallabies executed a similar move. However, the man who receives the ball overruns his arching line and runs into the dummy runner; and even though the Welsh defender actually went for the dummy runner, the Wallabies players were too close and the action was seen as shepherding.
Good spot in the Aussie game. The margins can be so fine.
Its a bit of a coup for Ireland. Given the squad injuries and mias, i dont think anybody thought wed really win. Andy farrell mustve given them some bollocking over the week and it worked because they came out guns blazing in the first half. The total opposite of Pretoria. Thats the Ireland we love. Running with the ball, slick passing and fast ruck speed. Conor murray shows hes still got it hot damn. But the real success story is osborn and frawley. Theyve announced themselves to the world stage in very classy fashion, i cannot wait to see what Ireland and leinster are gona do with them after summer.
Strong agree with all of this. Well said.
KIWI Here! Ireland's way ahead of the A.Bz when it comes to attack! We still try beat the man 1 on 1, but here is a brilliant piece of deception from the props, that's effortless and efficient. Andy Farrell's rugby league background is coming into play here, Melbourne Storm were doing these moves 20 years ago. Anyone who knows the Storm knows what im talking about. If our attack coach Leon McDonald can work these moves into our game we'd ne dangerous with our talent. Lucky for the other teams Leon McDonald has no idea!
This goal-line drop out is proving to be a rich source of opportunities.
A very good point .👍
Indeed. For those that plan for them...
Ireland are the most tactically aware team on the planet.
You could well be right.
The Irish are sharp as f*ck. I should know; I’m Irish.

@@johnmc3862 Well Jesus, let me tell you.
They are the best, that was the best test game I have seen. Frawley drop gaol x 2 sensational
Incredible finale
You will never find a better game of rugby anywhere on the planet than these 2 teams playing each other. No need for a 3rd test as it would-be disrespectful to try and separate thes 2 magnificent teams.👏👏👏 take a bow
Really enjoyed your take. You definitely saw the same game I did! England gave it everything and you can be well proud of your lads.
Thank you! I am indeed very proud of the lads
Ahh cmon SA give us back our No 1 title 😂 fantastic tests great brand of rugby played everything left on the park , credit due to Ireland stepping into the lions den and sharing the spoils.❤❤❤
The lean, mean green, fighting Irish rugby machine and we can literally say fighting after yesterday's game. When it looked all over and the boks looked like they were going to take the game and the series 2 - 0 , the Irish lads found something extra and pulled it back. Well deserved victory. Congratulations to both sides for creating such a fantastic spectacle for all to witness
Well said
Sad that so many of these games are decided by the flakiest of penalties (inc England game). Boks didn't manage to score in play but nearly won the game. Ireland have beaten boks in 4 of the last 5 matches (including in the world cup) and they only lost last week because a legit try was disallowed (see Nigel Owen video - bad mistake). I'd rather see games decided on skill and not on "Smashing the opponent" (sp SA) and playing for penalties. The best team won, but at what cost and what injuries - personally I prefer not to play teams like SA would would love to see them leave the URC and go back south because I fear for player safety later in life.
Seriously?!! Franco Mostert: broken leg (off for 6+ wks); Malcolm Marx: fractured tibia (out for 4-6 wks) - deliberately targeted in double croc roll; Pieter-Steph du Toit (out for 4-6 wks); Cheslin Kolbe: lower leg injury (out for 4 wks) - after 2nd test against Ireland. Who was 'Smashing the opponent' here???? Should have been red cards handed out to several Ireland players for cynical, dangerous play!! Which match were you watching?!!
Great review mate!
Thank you John.
This series was always about Ireland trying out inexperienced players in new positions, invaluable success. 🇮🇪💚☘🙏
I would suggest that trying out inexperienced players in new positions was the by-product of this series due to injuries and unavailabilities. I have no doubt that this series was about winning test matches - for both sides.
Don’t worry bud . Ireland were the better team . Great to see how much it meant to them at the end .
It's pretty exciting to win with a last kick drop-goal! I think I would've been whooping and a hollering too!
‘Bloodbath of Durban’ 🩸 what an amazing match!
It was raining the red stuff. Heck of a game, heck of a series.
